Leo Horoscope (July 23 - August 22)
Fixed Fire. Your ruling planet is The Sun.

Your soft side is showing, Leo. You who are the great jungle cat and often attack with your claws or else threaten to, are now lying on your back and purring. You might also feel somewhat troubled as this is not your characteristic mode of operation. Never fear, your purpose is still strong, and as always exceedingly present; it's just that you are now devoted to a dose of soul healing. As you forge deeper and more poignant links with important others in your life you are also, and more importantly, investing in profound connection with yourself. It's exciting and freeing to find yourself in this way, carving, as the poet says, necessary and deeper ripples in the tissues of your mind.

As the month begins, you are finding new realizations everywhere, increasingly as the month continues to unfold. These might help to move you beyond your resistance and into an entirely new phase of your experience. Your personal evolution is moving on apace, characterized by greater integration of all the disparate parts of your being, although due to one setback or another it might not always feel like progress,. Significant others in your life are important now and contribute to your own understanding as you seek to better define the ultimate purpose behind self-expression and career commitment. The New Moon of Friday, March 4th, serves to crystallize these concepts into more concrete form. Communicating your ideas to others is very healing for you now and helps you to see the bigger picture in transmission to others around you and for yourself as well. This is a time of difficulty and tension, but the very drawbacks of your current situation provide the necessary clues to unlocking major obstacles. Your insights for breakthrough are running up against a surprisingly conservative nature that stems from somewhere within you, and it holds you back from overly quick progress. It is an improved product, the final resultant that you are left with, the amalgam formed in the crucible of this contrast.
