Leo Horoscope (July 23 - August 22)
Fixed Fire. Your ruling planet is The Sun.

This is an odd month for you, Leo; you are uncharacteristically feeling a little secluded. You may find that it is increasingly important that you reach out to your peers and yet this is an intention that does not easily find its resolution. You are meanwhile connecting to a quiet and calm space within you that is slowly transforming your approach to life from the inside out. Brothers and sisters and the way that you communicate your deepest thoughts to others create an important t feedback loop to your own process which is a largely internal one. Your insights are dazzling in their essential clarity and when you can find the way to get them across to others then you will really see them shine. They magnify in significance and serve to further the common good as you see it.

As the month begins, you are occupying a dreamy space that is essentially orthogonal to the so-called real world. You are somewhat removed from that world, especially for the first three weeks of the current month, yet still very much present in it. The unseen world is actually the vaster and more fundamental of the two, yet does not normally receive the attention from your waking life that it merits, although that situation could change in unexpected ways as this mystical month unfolds. The Solar Eclipse and New Moon from the very beginning of the month, taking place on Friday, July 1st, brings these themes into sharp relief and accentuates the dichotomy between these otherworldly concerns and those of more mundane events and circumstances. Not only is the world of inner imagination accentuated but that of your normal solar consciousness is dimmed, so that this powerfully constellated intuitive reality shines even more brightly. You find that your communication with others around you is somewhat shut down, or at the very least made more solemn and serious, and reflecting the greater issues that currently occupy much of your thinking. The First Quarter Moon of late Thursday evening and early Friday morning, July 7th and 8th, is a time of relative trial that will give you further pause. In acting out the arc of your development over the course of this month�s difficult cycle you will be pushed to your limits in some areas. You are dealing with boundaries at this time, both internal ones and those with intimate partners. It might become difficult to decide where they begin and you leave off. You might also tend to idealize significant relationship in your life and feel let down when they do not measure up to unrealistic standards. The Full Moon of Thursday night and Friday morning, July 14th and 15th, allows some of the tension to dissipate and leads you toward a place of balance. You are entering the second phase of this four week period of the lunation cycle and thereby completing an arc of development that has taken you essentially out of time, and out of your ordinary everyday world. You will come back into it again by the end of the month, renewed and refreshed. The Last Quarter Moon of Friday, July 22nd, represents a profound period of reflection and contemplation when you are preparing for the cycle to come by reviewing and absorbing the information from the previous three weeks of this one. Toward months end, you are meditative but simultaneously riding the wave of the changes in which you have been constructively engaged to go out into the world with a different feeling tone than when you began your month-long journey. As you re-emerge into the world of events and circumstances you might do well to recall the words of T.S. Eliot that you will arrive at where you started, and you will �know the place for the first time.�
