Libra Horoscope (September 23 - October 22)
Cardinal Air. Your ruling planet is Venus.

You are strongly feeling the bond with all your relations, Libra, not forgetting your important connection with the secret ingredients within your own psyche. This your birthday month finds you coming out vibrantly and articulately to others around you, seeking new centers of balance and wholeness and planning for a wiser future. You are drawing gradually closer to significant partners in your life at this time, as a result of a different way of relating to yourself. Your real world presence is truly on the line toward the end of the month as you rethink security needs and face lingering self-doubts. Sometimes how you show up doesn't matter as much as you think, when you just do.

As the month begins, you are likely to be still feeling the tension of the First Quarter Moon over the previous weekend, which hit you strongly where you live and have your sense of identity. This self-concept is changing right now, as you find new levels of discipleship to your Higher Self awareness. There are layers and layers there, like peeling an onion to get down to the very core; only it turns out to be even bigger than when you started. Communication is key, and finding your place in social settings that make sense for your entire life path going forward. At the time of the Full Moon that comes along on the 6th of October, you are seeking a blend between self and other, especially with regard to questions of equal partnership footing. There is in fact a delicate balance that constantly needs to be renewed between existing for the sake of someone else's issues instead of your own versus finding your place in the mix of energies in an integrated fashion that takes into account the needs of others as well, but not too much. The Last Quarter Moon that takes place a week later, on Friday the 13th, brings other pieces into the equation, such as how you put yourself out there in terms of career and professional responsibility in a way that remains consistent with your deeper essence, and that allows you to explore the financial and material reflections of your work in the world and their underlying motivation. With the New Moon of Saturday, October 21st, you are moving into a different sort of balance between partnering portions of your own psyche, as you relate your recent advances in the consciousness of what you are all about to material and resource concerns. With Mercury turning retrograde in your resources sector, you will be reflecting on the deeper meaning for several weeks to come. As you do it may be wise to remember what Uncle Remus suggested long ago, that "it's what you do with what you got that counts."
