Libra Horoscope (September 23 - October 22)
Cardinal Air. Your ruling planet is Venus.

You are in for an edgy and potentially enlightening time in the course of this month's journey, Libra, especially with regard to educational and travel goals, complete with accompanying shifts in your perspective. Your communication skills are excellent right now, which is definitely helpful. The beginning of summer on June 21st each year is normally powerful in terms of career initiatives for you, but this time around you might find yourself re-thinking your position. A new sense of self is dawning that takes a broader, and even a higher viewpoint more fully into account.

As the month begins, and following a mandate for change from the previous cycle, you are seeking a form of internal communion with your higher self that can serve to work out some of the particulars. This is a powerful time for you right now and indeed for everybody else as well. The unclaimed future beckons, together with the determination to make it substantially different from the past, to heal wounds of separation from your own divine energies and to enter into a philosophy of life and of living that better suits your real needs going forward. An issue or two may crop up at the time of the Last Quarter Moon on Friday, June 8th, when the intensity of the moment is matched by your response, and when tempers may flare, at least for a little while. Surprises may manifest in the area of health or of service to your highest ideals for yourself and finding your path through life. The new information gleaned at this time may also serve you well, and promote a clearer grasp on the practicalities of your present condition. The New Moon that follows almost a week later, on Thursday, June 14th, is another powerful time, when you are feeling your way forward to a better plan that includes your own unique way of looking at things, possibly with the help of active partners. You are on the brink of a spiritual commitment that may be difficult to integrate and that flies in the face of what you have been previously willing to accept. The Summer Solstice of the following week, taking place on June 21st, and the First Quarter Moon of the next day, emphasize the changes that you are not only willing but ultimately almost forced to make at this time of your life. Since Mercury is also retrograde in the second half of the month, there may be unexpected reverses in your best-laid plans, but these may only represent temporary set-backs. An essentially reflective period of time that lasts from mid-June until after mid-July prepares you to see things differently.
