Libra Horoscope (September 23 - October 22)
Cardinal Air. Your ruling planet is Venus.

This is a big month for outer commitment, Libra. You are coming to new realizations concerning how you do your work in the world, the public statement that you make with your every action. You have been serious lately regarding your societal connection, this month even more so. How do you plug into the gears of the machinery in a way that is both consistent with your immediate career goals and yet also lines up with your highest purpose for yourself in this lifetime? The answer may seem confusing from the standpoint of the mundane race to the supposed ribbon, but when you turn around and take further unseen dimensions into better account, everything becomes crystal clear.

As the month begins, you are getting entirely serious regarding your possibilities in this world. There has been a period of re-evaluating your goals for the future, and your creative process also, that is completing during the present timeframe. Since Mercury is retrograde right now, and since later on in the month your ruler Venus also changes to a backwards direction in the sky as seen from the Earth, this entire summer represents a time of reflection that is largely internal for you rather than outgoing. With the possible exception of the two-week period immediately following the mid-month New Moon, this is definitely not a time to push the river, but rather to watch and wait, paying careful attention to everything that happens. The Last Quarter Moon taking place in the first full weekend of the month, on Saturday morning, July 7th, is a great time for evaluating where you are heading this time around, especially regarding significant relationships in your life, either personal or business partnerships. The New Moon that comes along a week later, on Saturday, July 14th, is accompanied by renewed opportunity regarding career goals, as you respond to issues of service, and of self-sacrifice, to the larger collective that surrounds you. You are seeking an ideal of service to others and attempting to ground this vision in the reality of concrete possibility. When your ruler Venus retrogrades near the end of the month, on the 27th, this again signals a more or less internal period, when you are attempting to refine and to some extend revision what you are looking for in terms of societal connection and building for a future that really matters to you. There are some ups and downs to this cycle of Venus as she loops through the zodiac over the next several months. There is a change to direct motion on September 8th, which may represent one shift in where you see yourself heading, and then there is also the point in time when Venus will re-enter Virgo and regain lost ground, which is not for another thirty days. During this entire period you will likely be subject to important internal questioning of your basic motivation, so it is good to be prepared. The end result of all this thinking and rethinking of your position is that when you do finally emerge from this complex period of time you will b more sure than ever regarding your true direction.
