Libra Horoscope (September 23 - October 22)
Cardinal Air. Your ruling planet is Venus.

This is a month of ever-increasing awareness for you, Libra. Things may not work out just the way that you want but there will be plenty of food for thought in your process of discovery. The first two weeks of the month represent a time when you may question your basic beliefs and re-do travel or educational plans, while the time that follows the Full Moon of the 18th is a strong period of personal growth and reassessment of your life in general. There is a useful feeling at this mid-month time of sorting out what really matters from your life so far and what simply doesn't, sort of a psychic yard-sale that you are having these days. As the bard reminds us, "what's past is prologue."

As an exciting monthly period begins, you are feeling the philosophical ferment of novel conceptions, new ways of seeing your world. You have been exploring your depths lately with the idea of breaking out of a perhaps too narrow definition of self, although you may have been operating under its influence for many years now. There is a nostalgic quality to your mental inquiry at this time, since you are in the process of reviewing the past with an eye to transcending it. With Mercury retrograde in your house of higher mind, you may find that you are replaying certain concepts over again in your mind's eye and viewing them from a very different angle this time around. If so, then congratulate yourself, since the current month could be regarded as a good time for research into different approaches. The New Moon that comes along early in the month, on the 3rd, gives you new energy for these mental and philosophical speculations, and for finding your own way home out of the maze created by society's conditioning. The period from the 3rd to the 7th is particularly rich in this regard. Then, on Tuesday June 10th, with the advent of the First Quarter Moon in your sector of dream visualization, you are particularly drawn to express all that you have inside yourself, perhaps through actual dreams on that Monday night, perhaps through mystical conversations with close friends. You are exploring your day-to-day life from a different angle at this time, seeking the soul intention behind it. There may be some tension inherent in your process at this time, and you could strike sparks, but sparks are the source of the fire that consumes the past and lead to breakthrough. The Full Moon that follows a week later, on Wednesday, June 18th, and the days following, represent a time when you might start to apply these ideas to the practical aspects of life on this very thick planet. The remainder of the month is follow-through and more concrete realizations.
