Libra Horoscope (September 23 - October 22)
Cardinal Air. Your ruling planet is Venus.

It's a mad, mod and madly wonderful world for you this month, Libra, as you mightily reinvent yourself and uncover new wrinkles in working out your true life path. There is a new way forward opening up for you right now, based on spiritual necessity, that is in many ways fated although you are always free to disregard the overwhelming evidence that points you to it. Partnership is a helpful adjunct to your own journey of discovery, especially after the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in your sector of future plans. This period represents a magical time for you when you are in collusion with the past but not by any means bound by it.

As the month begins, you are coming off an electrifying eclipse from the last week of January in your sector of self-expression. This early February time period is a powerful one for you, when you are in some sense reinventing yourself, when you are full of creative energy and more than ready to take on the world. The exciting thing about this period is that if you are ready to take on the world, it is in your own way, relatively free from the conditioning of the past. This does not of course imply a total discontinuity; you represent the sum of what has gone before, and how well you have integrated these experiences within the flavor of your own unique perspective. Now, more than ever, you are engaged in a process of choosing what to keep and what may be profitably discarded as you move forward into what is, after all, a brand new day. This new phase of your life involves partnership with others to an important degree, but in such a way that you are not bound by constraints or automatic reflex responses, but coming at the sharing from a strong individual standpoint: the image of two trees that, rather than leaning on each other, each grow straight and tall up into the heavens on their own. The Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of Monday, February 9th, represents the full flowering of these notions, and an important time of balancing outer and inner concerns. Although each life decision you make is based on rational knowledge and intelligent direction, there is an underlying unconscious basis that you find that you must also take into account, and that relies on the working out of Spirit in your life. At this time also it could be that the dark parts of yourself stemming from childhood wounds could arise that are normally more or less hidden from your conscious gaze although they definitely affect your actions, from below. If so, this is an excellent time to pursue a more intimate knowledge of such traumatic events and responses from the past that still color your actions in the present moment. The goal is ultimately to accept yourself at all levels. This is a long and arduous journey but as they say, the thousand miles begins with that first step. One week later, the Last Quarter Moon of Monday, February 16th, is also an important turning point, when partnership with others again plays a major role in your coming to a renewed grasp of what makes your own heart tick. A true integration of heart and mind is possible within this monthly period, as you move toward a better understanding of your own particular path, your unique contribution in this lifetime.
