Libra Horoscope (September 23 - October 22)

You are entering a new phase, Libra. This month the stars incline you toward an unknown destination, and it could be that the reward is found in the journey itself. There is joy in the discovery and the exploration, but only if you pack extremely light, leaving all your preconceptions behind as you climb aboard. Partnership is powerful for you at this time and contributes mightily to the arc of your own development. Your ongoing process of refining and redefining your position on life and love continues into the present cycle, especially with Mercury retrograding through your sector of intimacy and personal evolution. It�s amazing how life consistently builds upon itself and continues in a new phrase that is somehow based on the earlier segment but is also entirely different.

As the month begins, you are reaping the rewards of close partnership in your life, whatever form that takes, feeling the increase in energy that you get from allowing others in and also enjoying the stimulation for your own arc of development. This is a beautiful time, and a delicate one, when you are perched on the edge of greater self-knowledge and when your worldview is changing to accommodate an expanded awareness of the full range of your possibilities. The days immediately surrounding the First Quarter Moon of Friday, May 1st, could bring some tension to your process of growth as you grapple with issues of how best to incorporate perspectives other than your own into your psyche without losing track of your unique point of view in that accommodation. You are changing mightily over the course of this important year and this month represents only the most recent flowering. Some of these concerns might come to a head at the time of the Full Moon of Friday, May 8th, when the outline of your basic transformation seems fully evident. Mercury is also retrograde in your sector of higher mind, as of the 6th, enabling you to be taking a philosophical and introspective stance on everything that is happening to you. You are blossoming these days and you are also hesitant about your next steps, asking yourself the implicit question of whether you can be all that you imagine in your wildest dreams of your future self. With the Last Quarter Moon of late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, the 16th and 17th, these issues return in more dramatic form as a series of perceived incompatible results that give you pause, while simultaneously increasing your understanding of your situation. When the Gemini New Moon comes along in the middle of the following weekend, early on Sunday, May 24th, you are making a fresh start on planning your future in a way that is consistent with inner guidelines. Limitation is on the one hand a concrete fact of life that inhibits action while on the other is only as real as you make it out to be.
