Libra Horoscope (September 23 - October 22)
Cardinal Air. Your ruling planet is Venus.

This is a huge month for accomplishment, Libra, but with a twist. Since your inner world is also extremely active right now, real-world achievement is only one part of the story. You are going down in order to come up. Itís a difficult passage and one that is storied in myth and song, of the hero who dares the descent into the underworld to find the treasure of secret wellness that lies within. This might involve family dynamics or restructuring your home turf in a literal or a metaphorical sense. When you have these inner ducks in a row, so to speak, then everything above and below ground starts to settle smoothly into place.

As the month begins, you are riding the transformational energy of the New Moon in your career sector from the end of last month. There is an important process of change going on right now in the very depths of your being and you do well to acknowledge its power. You are coming into yourself in a new way, exploring your possibilities for creative self-expression, and getting a glimpse of the architecture of your future self and where the construction efforts in which you are currently engaged might actually be heading. You are simultaneously dealing with over-the-top expectations and the shadow of unfulfilled self-realization that also comes up at times to haunt your journey at this important juncture. With the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of Tuesday, July 7th all these issues and more are on the table, awaiting your conscious assessment. Your point of view is all-important as you attempt to integrate the information flowing from lifeís multitude of ups and downs. Shakespeare rightly said that nothing is either good or bad but thinking makes it so, and similarly you win when you realize that perspective makes all the difference in whether you choose to glumly accept an outcome that is less than perfect or shrug your metaphoric shoulders and simply get on with it. One never knows in the moment the ultimate advantage that accrues from rising to meet a challenge head-on. You might also be forced at this time to deal in some way with an escapist urge to go for the miraculous, or perhaps suffer under lifeís disappointments and take them as implying a poor connection to self-fulfillment and future happiness, but these tendencies can also be overcome by a calm attitude and an over-arching sentiment of inclusion of all the disparate parts of your being. The Last Quarter Moon that arrives mid-month is another crux of tension in your process of unfolding natural wisdom, and represents the maturity that comes at the expense of surviving hard knocks. This is a time when you instinctively understand what makes sense for you going forward and what does not, as you make a strong stand for yourself and allow active partners in your life to do likewise. With the New Moon and Solar Eclipse of the evening of the 21st —another powerful point in time and worthy of your most careful attention — you are on the verge of breakthrough. The next two weeks may prove to be particularly miraculous.
