Libra Horoscope (September 23 - October 22)
Cardinal Air. Your ruling planet is Venus.

This is a time of turning, Libra, and characteristically this involves significant partners in your life as well as plumbing your own deep center. In your quest for truth, you are just beginning to get the idea for your path alone and undivided and then suddenly significant partners are brought once more into the picture. It's a spiral path that you are engaged in traversing, both alone and with others. You are progressively ascending the ladder of your destiny one rung at a time, and in spite of the company you crave to share your quest, slowly recognizing the places where you must stand all on your own.

As the month begins, you are busily focused on doing your own thing independent of others around you, although you are also getting better at letting in the input and the point of view of others, without allowing these influences to entirely swamp your own boat. This lunar cycle that is currently completing, which began with the New Moon of the middle of March, has initiated a new vision for you of how you do your soul work in this world in a way that represents your own unique contribution. In this current month you are still on that track but also working on your ability to profit from and to integrate the input and feedback of others, particularly that of important partners in your life. This is because partnership is emphasized for you at this time and because your ruler Venus is traversing through your intimacy sector along with Mercury, ruler of your sector of higher mind. It's an entirely new ballgame in the relationship department, a department where you thrive and find much of your life's meaning. The pleasant situation that now arises for you is that while others are important, as they always are, especially at this time of the year, their influence is now nicely placed in perspective in a way that includes as primary your own arc of development. The Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday, April 6th, traditionally symbolizes a time of increased consciousness of where your earlier assumptions break down and where wisdom arises thereby. This is even truer this time around, for you. This configuration and the days immediately surrounding it represent a time when there is a way that your internal workings are encouraging you to take the next step in terms of your own personal evolution. This moment of relative tension in your process signals that things are changing and that you have also the opportunity to yield gracefully to necessity. If you go kicking and struggling like a child who is not at all ready for his bath, holding onto the stairway balusters at every turn, you will obviously suffer more than if you accept the reality of your situation and choose to "go with the flow." The New Moon that follows a week later, taking place on Wednesday, April 14th, is a time of fresh vigor for your own process and also for that of your relationship dynamic which is fully energized. You are seeking by means of active partners in your life to make a change consistent with the insights of the past cycle, and also finding that part of yourself opposes new phase with a conservative move to hold onto the unchanging past. It is a tug of war but there can really be only one winner, since forward motion is a characteristic of the life force if you are to continue to grow. The last two weeks of the month, and on into May, constitute the period of the Mercury retrograde, a time when you will be mulling over your choices in a big way. As you attempt to make sense of them it helps to remember that that universe has its own agenda, in concert with yours but also different, so that it pays to place your requests on the table and then to accept what happens as a further and more fully appropriate working out of a higher plan. With the Full Moon at nearly month's end, on Wednesday, April 28th, you might begin to see a resolution forming.
