Libra Horoscope (September 23 - October 22)
Cardinal Air. Your ruling planet is Venus.

This is a joyful month for you Libra, but also one that carries its own sense of renewed responsibility. You have intuitively felt the coming changes of the ensuing weeks that lead into the heart of the summer, and now the evidence is more pressing. You are rearranging your thinking on important aspects of your situation while changing at the very core of your being. Relationship with significant partners in your life provides both impetus and some curve balls that threaten to throw you off-track. Family issues might also loom large. What is paramount and what you must keep firmly in mind is the unfolding process of your own journey into wholeness. Follow that path and everything else around you falls into place, even gracefully.

As the month begins, you are still taking in the effects of the powerful Full Moon from the end of last month, when Uranus powered into Aries, your opposite sign and therefore also a representation of the relationship part of your existence. Uranus signals a radical break from prior experience in this important area, a break that is yet in some ways a continuation of prior connection, but with a twist. This is a pivotal month for you, when many things in your life could fundamentally alter, and this current phase opens a door to others even more massive still to come. When you reach for the top of your climb, as the poet says, hills peep over hills, and alp on alp arise. This is true for every child of the scales and especially so if you were born or have your rising in the early degrees of the sign. The Last Quarter Moon of Friday, June 4th, is pivotal for you. You have been involved for many weeks now with issues of deep transformation, as you plumb your depths for answers to questions that you didn't even know that you had asked, and that have in fact affected every part of your being. Your home base has morphed to include a wider definition of what family can mean, while relationships in your life have been through many visions and revisions as you grapple with who you really are at the core. The way that you show up in the world, graceful as always, has hardly changed in comparison to what has been seething within the underpinnings of your public statement. The New Moon of Saturday, June 12th, constitutes another important milestone, when new energy comes in for seeing the world differently and thus changing it. You are trying on a new vision of not only the world around you but also your proper place within it that allows you to embody your highest vision for yourself. There is an inherent idealism in your pursuit of the golden apple of fully conscious soul purpose, and many turnings of the road along the way, but you can't let that stop you from trying. The First Quarter Moon a week later, taking place on Friday, June 18th, might represent one of these turnings, a time when the tension of opposites confounds you and a sense of limitation threatens to impede forward progress. After a pivotal weekend, the Summer Solstice dawns on Monday, June 21st, and initiates you into a productive week that culminates with the strong Full Moon Eclipse of Saturday, June 26th. You are more fully aware by now of the importance of what you are attempting, as you dig down into the underworld of your inner workings and seek to return with the treasure that unites head and heart. This final weekend of the month represents a crossroads when many things in your life, including your relationship dynamics, become clearer, and when you can see the path that lies before you. You are entering still another new phase, and must proceed with caution and circumspection and also courage. You might suffer from the decisions you must make now, but then in another way you have no real choice but to forge ahead.
