Libra Horoscope (September 23 - October 22)
Cardinal Air. Your ruling planet is Venus.

This is an important month for you, Libra, when you are putting your money where your heart is. You are proceeding now in a way that is firmly based on the ordinary world of intention and causality, and yet responds more poignantly to the rhythm of waves that beat upon a distant shore. In response to this call of the unknown, you are transforming slowly at the very core of your being, and it affects home and family concerns, and everything that you do. Surprising and sometimes sudden enlightenment comes to you from significant partners in your life, and their ideas and actions help you to better define your own. There are multiple universes that lie within you, and that ultimately have a more profound influence upon you than the merely mundane world of surface events.

As the month begins, you are feeling the pressure of the moment. You are at the crossroads now, as you have been ever since the week of June 21st, which culminated in the extremely powerful Lunar Eclipse on the 26th. Now, in July, you are not only focused on accomplishment in the traditional sense of worldly endeavor, but also in the sense of what you can achieve within yourself by marshalling your forces there more effectively. Relationship too is a moving target for you right now. This is always an issue for the Libran clan – how much of your validation comes from others around you – and there have been exciting shifts in perspective lately whereby you can see your way clear to a new conception. Changes and challenges in relating to significant others in your life might have come rather suddenly at times over the last month or so, and they will continue to do so. This could be owing to the nature of the shifts in circumstances and accompanying epiphanies within your frame of reference. If you are looking for slow and steady or even stasis you haven't found it yet. But change is part of lively activity; life itself is change, and if you can master that concept you are well ahead of the game. The Last Quarter Moon of Sunday, July 4th, presents you with more food for thought. The process of evaluation and growth in understanding that is one hallmark of this phase of the Lunar cycle applies to all aspects of your life, but most especially to the relationship dynamic that you experience with important partners. You are resolving conflicts between yourself and others regarding how you do your work in the world, and how you satisfy your own deep inner needs as well, independent of what intimates of yours might supply. The New Moon and Solar Eclipse of the following week, taking place on Sunday, July 11th, is also a powerful moment, one that takes you to new levels of what you believe you can accomplish in the world, through sustained effort and your own initiative, and also of how to incorporate others into this picture in a way that allows you the freedom to operate within the growing sphere of your own understanding of where you are heading in terms of the deeper currents of your life and work. There could be a painful process of deep-seated realization that emerges for you now, and if so you do well to take the time to acknowledge it. There are dark spaces within you that once recognized have the power to be healed and in the process to heal you as well. Unless you are a saint there are likely to be dysfunctional patterns that have been operating for far too long within the space of your unconscious habitual actions, and these might come up for review and greater acceptance in this time period. The First Quarter Moon of the following weekend, taking place on Sunday, July 18th, marks a time of relative tension in your progress, a time when you can grow by asserting what it is that you truly need and what you can let go of. You are finding your way through these shoals and currents now as more of an inner warrior than an outer one, even though both side of your life are important at this juncture and feed each other. The Full Moon that comes along in the last full weekend of the month, on Sunday, July 25th, carries with it a greater sense of the extreme polarities of self and other that continue to swirl around you over this entire monthly period, together with a hopeful attitude that enables you to ride out the storm and put in place concrete plans for a more integrated and vibrant future.
