Libra Horoscope (September 23 - October 22)
Cardinal Air. Your ruling planet is Venus.

This is the first month of the rest of your life, Libra. Transformation is coming, sometimes fast and sometimes more slowly, as you prepare to enter into a brave new world of your own devising. You are moving with quiet deliberation now, placing each foot ahead of the other with carefully thought out intention, and yet each step hopefully aligning in a generally forward direction. Intimacy with others around you and especially with yourself is a rapidly moving target but one well worth pursuing as you feel your way forward. You are seeing the world in an entirely different fashion these days, and that changed vision paves the road ahead of you as you slide along into more rapid movement over the course of an intense summer still to come.

As the month begins, you are focused on intimate connection with significant partners in your life, and ultimately, with yourself as well. Deep bonding with another is your meat and drink of course, but it does not come easily right now, since rather than connection with others, Saturn in your identity sector is pushing you toward greater self-reliance. Still, the indications are there for more balanced sharing, where you come from your satisfied center and not leaning out of it. It's a simple perspective shift but a profound one. You are aided in reaching out for new points of view on existing situations by the powerful thrust of the June 1st Solar Eclipse and New Moon in your sector of higher mind. This energy also strengthens your resolve to be your own center of light even as you reach out to others in your life, including family, in a new fashion. You are in an interesting position now, whereby this innovative way of connection attracts you but yet you are also held back in old patterns. Something of the past remains, always, and the trick is to acknowledge this part of yourself and integrate past painful situations and even outright mistakes, rather than shunning them, as you nevertheless move on in your life to a greater wholeness. The First Quarter Moon of Wednesday, June 8th, and the days immediately following, constitute a time when you will be faced with more choices and consequently greater confusion. You are in break-through mode all month long, with your head at least partly in the clouds, and it becomes difficult to navigate from the standpoint of everyday life. Then, too, you are attempting to discern which of your many forward-going attitudes and activities are truly viable and which might need rethinking in the light of negotiating the obstacles to attaining them. The Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of Wednesday, June 15th, represents one plateau achieved, a place where you can look around and reassess progress. You are changing these days, ready or not, and like it or not, and it affects you in the very core of your being. You might as well just get on with it, as much as you might feel like hiding under the covers. Even though radical change is far from easy, your prognosis is good for coming out the other side with greater wisdom and a brighter outlook on life and love. With the Last Quarter Moon of Thursday, June 23rd, your rear-view mirror assessment of your situation could be profound. There is a spiraling evolution of your attitude toward specific partners and regarding the concept of relationship in general. The more you know about it, it seems, the more there is to know, but in any case it all circles back to where you currently stand with your own self-development. What's past is prologue.
