Libra Horoscope (September 23 - October 22)
Cardinal Air. Your ruling planet is Venus.

This is truly the first month of the rest of your life, Libra. There have been many challenging events over the past year and therefore many changes also to absorb as you begin another birthday year amidst a radically transforming social order. Partnering with others has taken a new turn as a result of your own rapidly shifting perspectives. You could be seeking a better blend of inner and outer concerns, a greater intrinsic security that stems from meeting your own needs first and foremost. There also comes to your aid the helpful interaction of close partners at this time as well but in a way that does not take away from your own presence. It�s a tightrope balancing act between being there for another while asserting your own independence, but it�s one that you�ve been training for.

As the month begins, you are full of the vibrant energy of the New Moon in your sign from the end of the previous month. This is an important time for you, when many things in your life could alter, although much of what is happening to you now is based on the previous structures you have built. You are steady and grounded in some ways, and yet definitely looking to a future self that jumps beyond the recent past. Relationship in your life provides the springboard for adventurous departure from all that you have previously known. There are likely to be unexpected events in this area that might serve to shock you out of complacency or at least provide you a fresh perspective as you push off beyond the shoreline of where you formerly were able to stand. Your world is changing rapidly, along with the security that you derived from it, and yet there is a new sense of security that is possible even amidst the changing scene of the voyage that you are currently embarked upon. The First Quarter Moon of Monday, October 3rd, is a powerful time for you as well, one in which some of your new-found assumptions and prerequisites might be put to the test. You are drawn to authority lately and yet you also see the drawbacks and limitations inherent in placing too blind a faith there, recognizing the need to assert your own authority in your own way. You could be taking a stand for yourself at this juncture and it is possible that significant partners in your life are able to help you with that, since even if they seemingly oppose you, it can provide you with grater clarity concerning your own position. With the Full Moon of Tuesday, October 11th you are reaching for a new form of balance in these areas. This is an important time for you of acknowledging pertinent restrictions on your mobility and also of finding the strength of your convictions as well, which could perhaps be discovered through being projected onto available partners. There is still a wild card in your relationship status right now, but the possibility for sudden flights of fancy is more limited. The Last Quarter Moon of Wednesday, October 19th, represents a crux in time wherein you will find plenty of food for thought in mulling over the events that have preceded it in the lunar cycle, attempting to find the true meaning and the lessons of this entire period so that you can take these forward into future stages and endeavors. You are in the midst of a thoughtful reevaluation that gives rise to new ways of looking at your goals and societal connections going forward. With the New Moon energy that comes along on Wednesday, October 26th, you are more determined than ever, and ready to begin again.
