The New Year opens to a world of infinite possibilities for you, Pisces. Confusion only partly reigns, as you are master of your work place right now, exploring still further facets of your crazy diamond and taking great joy in the discovery. During the middle of January is a great time to vision a more inclusive future for yourself, especially when you are so busy trying to figure out exactly who you are these days, and it is clearly a multiple-choice answer. Maybe it's not too late to pick "all of the above."

As the month and the year begins, you find yourself operating from an increasingly mystical point of view. This is nothing new for your gentle Piscean character, but with all the emphasis lately on outer forms in your life it may be something of a surprise to find that your dream nature is still very active. In fact there is a creative tension forming between your public persona on the one hand, and your individual private Self on the other, that definitely involves you at the deepest levels of your being. There are opportunities in each direction, and the trick may be to combine your possibilities. The Full Moon at the middle of the first week of the month brings the oppositional nature of your conflicting realities to bear, and encourages you to find a middle ground. Every facet of your outer connection with the events that shape your world is engaged right now, including most especially your participation in societal agendas that reflect your values and wherever you think that you and the rest of civilization might properly be heading. These first few weeks of the New Year represent the best chance that you will have all year to get your priorities straight, not because of the calendar timing, although that makes for a nice coincidence, but because the Sun and Mercury are conjoining in your sector of future plans. The New Moon that comes along on the 18th of the month culminates and accentuates this period of time, which is a logical one for you to breathe new life into your most heart-felt resolutions for a better world. Along the way to this moment of revelation there are bound to be ups and downs that present both challenge and opportunity. This may be particularly so at the time of the Last Quarter Moon of Thursday the 11th, and the days following including the weekend of the 12th to the 14th, when you are encouraged to try to see the biggest possible picture and to avoid getting snagged in the details. You are forging a new contract with yourself over this entire period and taking the high road is what it is ultimately all about.
