Pisces Horoscope (February 19 - March 20)

It's a new world that you have been born into with this new season, Pisces, and you're still exploring it. Values and security become important in ways that you had not before considered. You are fighting for what you truly believe, at gut level, and it makes for a whole new ballgame. As you come forward into possibility you might find yourself plagued by old business that remains on the table and that competes with the new impulse, and while these considerations will certainly slow you down they won't defeat you. The bull is charging but you have magic in your fingers as you seize your life dilemma by the horns and leap over.

As the month begins, you are riding the wave from the pervious month's New Moon in your sign that took place on March 15th. This was a powerful configuration filled with invigorating presence and inventive mental creativity, and you were no doubt energized and maybe even startled to find yourself riding off in some very different directions. Although this energy feels like a departure from your existing sense of yourself, it is important to realize that it also represents a logical continuation of everything that has come before it. You are feeling your way into a new future, as you have been for some time now. In the midst of these currents of psychic attunement swirling around you, the Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday, April 6th, might come as something of a setback, more imagined than real. This configuration represents a crux of spiritual events whereby you better understand your future directions in terms of a struggle to make sense of your security needs and the resources you have at your disposal to work with them. This includes but is not limited to financial security. Part of what is going on for you right now is that you are coming to terms with a new definition of pretty nearly every factor in your life, including your finances. It is the emotional relief that financial well-being provides that is the real story, after all. The New Moon in your resources sector comes along a week later; this takes place on Wednesday, April 14th, and when it does it provides new impetus for your process going forward. You will feel a burst of energy for financial as well as spiritual resources or at least for a fresh way of looking at them. You are entering a thoughtful period of time with Mercury retrograding through your communications sector. This Mercury retrograde lasts over five weeks when you take into consideration the retrograde shadow period that lasts from May 11th to the 28th, and is a good time for research and reflection, or perhaps for journaling about what you are currently up to and where you think you are headed. It is not such a good time for radical departures but rather for following through with existing plans. Your financial picture will change again by the end of May. The First Quarter Moon a week later, taking place on Wednesday, April 21st, could signal obstacles you encounter in moving ahead gracefully with the changes in life direction that are part of your hidden agenda this year. This is also a time when you might recognize that obstacles are there for the sake of overcoming them. The Full Moon at nearly the end of the month, taking place on Wednesday, April 28th, represents a peak of the Mercury retrograde period and a time when communication runs reflectively underground rather than in any overt way. This can serve you as well as others, in revealing the polarities of your situation, the push and the pull of circumstances versus future vision. Your feet are on the path and your faith guides your onward and upward. Sometimes it is necessary to just keep on truckin'.
