This is a strange and interesting time for you, Pisces, with plans both sizzling and fizzling all at once. This is making you perhaps a believer in the ultimate paradox that underlies the nature of human events. Finances are fluctuating throughout this period but will eventually straighten out, and at least will continue to provide what you really need. While you are going strong in many ways, and finding contentment in the process within yourself, you are also reaching a pause with much of what is going on in your life. This is even more the case as the month winds down with the Full Moon in your sign and Mercury retrograding through your partnership sector. The changes that you seek are still happening below the surface; it is only that you must employ patience.

As the month begins, you are feeling the evolutionary imperative that you have been living with in some form or another for many months now, and also the pause in the thrust of change occasioned by the entrance of Saturn late last month into your sector of intimacy and personal transformation. Since your ruler Neptune is also retreating from your identity sector, until next spring, this powerful month has something of a mixed blessing for you, whereby you are still very much aware of the necessity to be moving on in some very important ways, and yet feeling somewhat stuck or stymied, all at the very same time. You are also well aware throughout this climactic summer of the necessity to include others in your own journey of self-discovery. Although working creatively by including other people is perhaps more difficult than on a personal level, it is to this more difficult task that you are drawn right now. The betterment of society as a whole becomes your focus. With the New Moon of Monday, August 9th, these feelings, both pro and con, are intensified. You also might take solace in getting closer to an understanding of your higher purpose in this lifetime. Your finances, which can also be conceived as the resources that you need to accomplish your mission, however you continue to define that mission, have been all over the place lately, although they now might be settling down. In any case, it is best if you can detach the fluctuations in your bank balance from the psychological symbolism of security. Your true security lies in your connection to the surrounding cosmos and to the deeper parts of your own nature, and if you cultivate these, independent of how well off you happen to be at any one moment, you have a solid basis after all. It is truly said, especially for you right now, that all that glitters is not gold. In the context of all that you are going through, the First Quarter Moon of Monday, August 16th, is an important time, when you are getting closer to finding out what parts of your agenda are truly viable. There is tension in your process of self-unfolding, but also the ability to face these difficulties with an open mind and a courageous heart. Then the Full Moon a week later, taking place on Tuesday, August 24th, presents you with a resolution of a kind, although it might provide you with as many questions as answers. You are more aware at this time of the power of partnership in your life to help you to make your own way forward, and in times like these that is a great blessing indeed.
