Pisces Horoscope (February 19 - March 20)
Mutable Water. Your ruling planets are Neptune and Jupiter.

You are putting yourself out into the world in many varied ways these days, Pisces. Partly you are contemplative and partly not so much, but it is all fresh. This end-of-year period is about seizing a brand new identity for yourself and learning to live it in style. You are involved in a tremendous process of remembering who you really are. As you begin to recognize the long-term implications for your personal evolution, your feelings change for friendships and groups that were formerly important, and for future plans that are also very much in flux for you now. It will be a dramatic New Year's Eve.

As the month begins, you are striving to depart familiar places. You are also going slow, holding back from exercising to the fullest measure your movement away from your existing center,. It has been this slightly conflicted way for the last several weeks. But then suddenly along comes a tropical breeze straight out of the East and your sailing craft is off and running almost on its own and you see the familiar landscape disappearing over the rapidly receding horizon. And yet you're back again, so that both of these contradictory states of being are true simultaneously. An exciting space of new beginnings and new philosophical outlook is calling you. With the New Moon of Sunday, December 5th, you have fresh energy for the more normal parts of your life, with plenty of useful work being performed and recognition for that in the materially oriented world of mundane affairs. Somewhere beneath and behind it all however, you have the impulse to go out on strange limbs, at least the ones inside the confines of your own inner awareness. In your imagination you are leaping tall buildings and opening portals to another world of extra-dimensional reality, more real in some ways than the one that you can see and feel. That this also scares you somewhat too is only natural. You are painting mental pictures right now of what you want life to be like when you get it all together, and throwing your resources behind that vision. Although you can make progress now, especially in researching what that vision entails, it will not be entirely complete for you until after the end of the year. The First Quarter Moon of Monday, December 13th, takes place in your sign, and follows by a few days the retrograde of Mercury in your sector of future plans. This lasts until at least the 29th when it turns to direct motion, and then again, through the first two weeks of the New Year when you take the shadow period into account. There might be conflicts not between doing and just being, or between your workday world, with its honor and its obligations, versus how you see your future vision unfolding. There is loads of energy now for your quest to change the very basis of what you do in the world, and you might want to guard against it spilling out in strange ways with significant others. Look before you leap. You are extraordinarily optimistic and full of beans, and that very enthusiasm could be difficult at times for others to take. At the time of the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of Tuesday, December 21st, you have come to a powerful juncture where you are trying to get the most out of your explorations and your unique sense of your own identity as distinct from all others. Creativity runs high. Your very identity is a moving target that takes you on an interesting ride into strange realms of being. You are taking an important leap forward now, although you also might want to remain conscious to the retrograde of Mercury that slows down any real progress that you can expect to make before the end of the year. These last ten days of the old year represent a summing up of what has come before, and a revving of your engine for what is still to come by mid-January. Yet another new phase begins for you when Neptune crosses into your sign with the advent of the spring.
