You are coming to some significant decisions of a philosophical kind this month, Sagittarius. Through your recent changes, you have exposed yourself to some vastly different points of view, and the effect on you is profound as you seek an uneasy balance between alternatives. On the one hand there is soulful communication that takes important, although potentially confusing, cosmic priorities more fully into account; on the other a greater presence in the here and now rush of personal events. The good news is that you don't even have to choose. Just doing your best job of being yourself may be enough.

As the month begins you are feeling the philosophical impact of the Sun and Mercury in your sector of higher mind. This is a big month of shifting perspectives for you, and travel to distant shores is one possible way that this invigorating attitude adjustment could play itself out. You are coming to a different stand on your belief orientation and educational perspective, whatever outer form this takes, and the exploration along the way to your destination may be the real goal. On the week beginning with Monday, August 6th, as your ruler Jupiter turns to direct motion, you will feel the shift. You find yourself reaching out more cheerfully to others around you. The paradox is that you still feel an undertow of a pull to the inside as well at this time, since Venus retrogrades into your Ninth House and squares Mars in your partnership sector. The potential conflict that ensues between inner and outer concerns may be resolved by recourse to a more detached point of view that takes everything that happens as it comes, without judgment and without agenda. The New Moon of the following week, taking place on Sunday, August 12th, presents you with fresh alternatives. You may see your world as composed of bonds with others right now, or see very clearly the inner link to All That Is, wherein you connect still more deeply to the universe. Your private life is shot full of inspiration right now. You may find that your communication with others is more mystically than realistically based at this time, but who's to say which mode of operation matches more truly the reality of the world around you. In the week following, the First Quarter Moon of Tuesday, August 20th, represents some bumps in the road, a potential for conflict between ideal concept and concrete achievement. You may find yourself in the process of absorbing disappointments into your evolving world view. With the Moon entering your sign that same evening you will well with any necessary adjustments. The next few days are potent for you, and may help to put the cap on the changes that have been gathering in your psyche over the course of this cycle.
