Sagittarius Horoscope (November 22 - December 21)

This is a powerful month for settling in with yourself, Sagittarius. The time has come to make a stand for what you truly believe. You are pursuing fame and fortune with good success and hard work, and yet feeling at the core of your being that there is something more, and reaching out from a compassionate place to others around you. An unexpected shake-up is in the works and you do well to honor it. The last half of the month, with Mercury retrograde, is very good for deep reflection and potentially for journaling about your situation. At the time of the Solar Eclipse of the 25th you are re-born into community in a new way, and happy to be there.

As the month begins, you are examining and acting on your decisions regarding the resources in your life, both financial and otherwise, which form the basis for your sense of security. This has been a relatively constant theme lately, from at least the time of your birthday onward, and things have been going surprisingly well, especially considering the general state of things these days. Now in this current time frame, you are taking a second look. I may be that you will be inspired to invest more wisely than you have in the past or that you will really get into the idea that virtue, not money, is its own reward. The security that healthy financials bring may pale in comparison to that brought about by healthy living, however you may want to define that term in alignment with your own sense of values. These types of philosophical meanderings regarding your resources may help you or hinder you in your search for meaning, but in any case, is up for you right now. With the First Quarter Moon of Sunday, January 4th, you might encounter the self-imposed limitations of your situation. You are encouraged at this time to take a stand for yourself and to let your imaginative powers and your raw courage triumph over adversity and restriction. With the Full Moon of the following weekend, taking place on Saturday, January 10th, you may feel the fulfillment of this potential struggle and the flowering of a sense of connectedness to everyone around you that somewhat relieves the burden you have attempted to shoulder alone for so long. It's a long road that has no turning. The Mercury retrograde period that follows the next day, and that lasts well into February when you take the shadow period into account, will prove to be a time of self-reflection and consolidation. This is an excellent time for journaling and communicating with others, and a good time as well for analysis, although perhaps not so great for moving forward with entirely new plans. This may be the temptation when the Solar Eclipse and New Moon takes place on Sunday night and Monday morning the 25th and 26th, since the energy for forging ahead is extremely high at this time, but you do better to quietly watch and await developments. There is a way of forcing events and a way of allowing them to unfold, naturally, without overly steering them or resisting them either, and that might be the best way for you to use this magical end-of-month time.
