Sagittarius Horoscope (November 22 - December 21)

The world is not what it seems, Sagittarius. When you are on easy street you are actually ill-prepared to deal with crisis, and when you are not, as now, you are experiencing what might prove to be the most valuable lessons of your life. This is a time for you of hard work that brings recognition in the eyes of the world, and of deeply transforming personal evolution that responds to troubles by taking them as opportunities for growth. As you navigate the shoals and swift currents of modern times you will find clues for managing your day-to-day existence in such a way that it brings you closer to an understanding of what your life is all about.

As the month begins, you are feeling your way forward to a new manner of being in the world. In this journey to a new universe for yourself that you are embarking upon, communication with others around you is vitally important and helps you to read the signposts and search out your direction. You are incredibly optimistic at this time, perhaps even bordering on illusion, especially regarding ideas and written or spoken communication with others around you, or your future plans. Fortunately a dose of hard-nosed reality is also an important part of your makeup right now and takes you toward a more practical frame of mind that could serve you well over these next few weeks. You are also concerned with the material side of your existence these days, and ultimately with taking a large-picture view of your material resources that gets to the very root of the matter. How and why is materiality important? Perhaps the main reason is to give you a greater sense of security and freedom. With the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse that takes place on Tuesday, July 7th, these issues will likely come to a head. This is a time of balance, when you are equally involved with your own sense of personal evolution and with the concerns of others. You are dreaming of a more perfect world beyond the demands of this one and yet are also concerned with the practical necessity of self-imposed limits and the hard work required to accomplish what you want in the physical world. Another factor that is emphasized right now is your motivation toward a future ideal that makes sense for you long-term. You are very aware at this juncture of the eclectic and multi-faceted nature of true reality, and yet also of the practical goal that compels you to put all your heart and energy into one way forward as a means to an end that you can really get behind. The Last Quarter Moon that comes along a week later might be a time of settling in to one form of progress or another, a time when you will be gathering the fruits of your experiences over the last three weeks and seeing what jells out of the understanding that you have gained by dint of hard work and by the conscious application of attention. Some areas that you have been involved with must fall by the wayside at this time in favor of those that you have the chance to make concretely workable. With the New Moon of the evening of July 21st, another eclipse, you will be making a leap of faith, based in part on what you have learned, and in part on a powerful determination to see your way through to a new beginning.
