Sagittarius Horoscope (November 22 - December 21)

Your domestic urges this month, are nicely balanced by your need to get yourself out there, Sagittarius. A fundamental instability at the level of your psychological roots opens a doorway that allows you to glide forward into new territory. The mid-month New Moon represents a major turning point when you will be making a stand for not only what you believe you can become but also what you know you have to work with in order to get yourself there. You are gathering all your strength and all your wisdom into one ball that you can roll forward into an uncertain and yet creatively exciting future.

As the month begins, you are no doubt still reeling from the very powerful mid-march New Moon that took place in your sector of home and family concerns and root psychological issues. A fundamental instability at the very core of your being might have been revealed to you at this time, but this is also an opening to new worlds if you look at it right. This type of discontinuity might indeed be just the very thing that you need to move forward in a new way with your life; to enable you to jump the existing tracks and find a path that is more entirely suited to your present stage of evolution. A crucial turning point, the Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday, April 6th might give you pause. This configuration represents a moment of tension in your process when you will have cause to doubt somewhat the current arc of your development, and when your resources and your values - which are going through something of a revision - might be called into question. All through this current monthly cycle you are thinking your way through to a new sense of purpose as you navigate this physical world; and this in a way that must be consistent with a deep inner sensibility which you are only now able to more fully understand. The New Moon that follows a week later, on Wednesday, April 14th, gives fresh energy to this process. This is a powerful time of becoming, when loads of energy is available to boldly put yourself out there in a novel way, so that it would be a shame to miss the train as it leaves the station to stay behind basking in past glories rather than forging new ones. The Mercury retrograde period of time which follows a few days later, beginning on Saturday, April 17th, in some sense puts a damper on your revolutionary spirit of change but the river of your progress continues to flow almost as though underground. This period of Mercury's retrograde motion, lasting through most of May, is a time when you will reflect on both the arc of your own development and how to forge new pathways forward into wholeness, and as well on the significant relationships in your life which might be poised to help you to get there. Other points of view can be quite helpful in solidifying your own, and can serve as foil and testing ground for your ideas. The First Quarter Moon of Wednesday, April 21st will be particularly important in this regard. This is a time when you will be reviewing and reflecting on everything that is currently happening and attempting to discern the wheat from the chaff. The Full Moon of April 28th marks the full flowering of ideas that have been percolating since mid-month, and signals a time for further reflection on where it is exactly that you are going. This final week of the month is an excellent time for journaling and for communicating to others around you about relevant concerns. You are moving through an important period of time that will change you in ways as yet unforeseen, so it pays to move carefully and yet with a certain sense of abandon, cherishing the past but allowing your inner process to reinvent the future.
