Sagittarius Horoscope (November 22 - December 21)
Mutable Fire. Your ruling planet is Jupiter.

This is a mixed-up transition into fall for you, Sagittarius. You are pulling back from an emphasis on an expanded sense of self that has been your joyful preoccupation lately, in favor of inner exploration. Something is causing you to remold your outer world approach into a softer and more compassionate stance that allows you to go easier on others and also yourself. In the midst of these considerations your achievement orientation continues. You will come to find that inner realities are fully as important for consideration as outer ones, and perhaps even more influential in determining the outcome that, in your heart of hearts, you seek.

As the month begins, you are reflecting on the changes that have been coming down lately relating to self-image and your creative output. In this Mercury retrograde time, you are busy right now redesigning your presence in the world and your impact on it. Of course much of what goes on in your life right now is business as usual, but lingering on the outskirts of your experience in this watchful eye. The reflective mode has its advantages in that no real action is required; you can take potshots from the wings on everything that you are doing, whether perceived as right and wrong. At some point however the moment for action must arrive. Hopefully by that time you will be more prepared to re-enter the fray with intelligent course-corrections in the mix of the actions that you will be taking. The New Moon of Wednesday, September 8th, gives you fresh energy for your ventures in the world of both an external and an internal nature. You are achievement oriented at this time, but in a different way and with a different outcome than before as you yield to a more inclusive vision of yourself and your possibilities. You are very much present in the world these days, although not perhaps with the verve that you displayed during the height of summer when all your surroundings seemed to be your own special oyster. But there are inner realities to contend with as you progress into fall that must be taken into account. These have a way of making their presence known should you try to ignore them. The First Quarter Moon in your sign of late Tuesday, September 14th, will bring up inherent glitches in the road to progress. This is a time when the impulse of the New Moon becomes tested in its collision with actual circumstances. There could be a modicum of tension in your process now as you seek to resolve potential conflicts between public and private, business and personal. These trials serve the purpose of testing you so that you can more fully experience your own true intention. Remaining philosophical has its advantages, as always. With the Full Moon of Thursday, September 23rd, there are positives to be discerned in terms of greater clarity, but there could also be further and more general challenges to contend with. You are changing, slowly, at the very core of your being, and it ultimately affects everything about you. It shows most clearly in new approaches that you are taking or feeling inclined to take, in life direction and values, or how you make use of the resources at your disposal to effect your outcomes. This is a slowly transforming landscape for you and one that it will take many visits to fully traverse, and perhaps many years before you will understand its full impact.
