You are getting serious regarding the level of your commitment, Sagittarius. There are issues that you are just beginning to tackle that have been on your list for perhaps a very long, time. This month represents a jump start into your next phase. You are exploding toward what you long for, and leaving a piece of your past behind as you do. Partnership with significant others in your life takes on added meaning and throws you a few curve balls as well into the bargain. Communication with everyone around you becomes extremely important now. The feedback that you receive from others leads you in the direction that your heart already wants to go.

As the month begins, you are reveling in your enthusiasm as the New Moon of the 2nd hits you in your communications house while your ruler Jupiter cavorts in your sector of self-expression. In many ways you are on fire at this time, but there is also a somber cast to your personality now, since Saturn sits in your sector of goals and group affiliations, placing limitation and creative difficulty directly in the road to your imagined success. You have quite a mix of forces enlivening your discourse and your pathway forward, at the same time wild and serious, sky's the limit and stuck in the mud. Through it all runs the imaginative, idealistic and even illusory energy of Neptune, sitting on the ledge of what some astrologers call your "root cellar" – the very center of your psyche. It might seem impossible to know the difference between ideal and illusion. You could even become reactive, especially since old behaviors stemming from childhood trauma could in fact come up. But every challenge is also an opportunity to rise above, and every potential for reactivity is a chance to see further into your habitual patterns that were once protective but which now no longer serve you in your present era. With the Last Quarter Moon of Thursday, February 24th, you are more philosophical concerning the changes that you have been putting yourself through over the extent of this month, seeking to understand the broader meaning.
