Sagittarius Horoscope (November 22 - December 21)
Mutable Fire. Your ruling planet is Jupiter.

It's a long road that has no turning, Sagittarius, and you are beginning to find yours. You are also finding your footing in the midst of difficult and often troubling times, buoyed by the notion that with enough faith you can move mountains. Life may be quite a roller-coaster ride at present and it is truly a difficult passage from where you are now to what you must eventually become. You operate on this thin rope both for the sake of the collective and for yours alone. Being possessed of a fount of brilliant ideas and imaginings now, you are nevertheless in an excellent position to make vast headway over the next few weeks and months. The result is that you will hardly recognize yourself come the summer, and maybe that could be an acceptable goal.

As the month begins, you are in an exploratory mode, looking beneath the covers of all your motivations, especially those involving the way that you get your point across to others, including the very basis of what you are about. This is an idealistic and also a potentially confusing time for you when your sense of security is shifting to inner standards. There is an intention that has been building up inside of you for many weeks now to exemplify and further define your notion of who you really are and how that translates into principled action on behalf of the big-picture viewpoint that you habitually bring to the table, and which has now expanded to include a set of mystical imperatives that have become too significant to suppress any longer. It's a question of consistency and of walking your talk. Communication with your peers is key for you right now, and it helps you to define and honor your stance. You are essentially a fighter for a cause these days, and you have only recently understood that fighting for your own beliefs is the most rewarding in the long run, even if these are not always in accordance with what the collective seems to espouse. In the end, you might be surprised at the extent of the support that you can dig up from like-minded people all around you who might come popping up out of the woodwork once you yourself are clear regarding your position. That clarity might take a while to arrive but the scope of your transition is already palpable. The Full Moon that comes along on Tuesday, February 7th, marks the beginning of a thoughtful and compassionate mid-month period. Although the means to get yourself there could still elude you, the goal at least is a better fit between spiritual principles and self-definition. Without a strong enough stake in a future you are aiming toward with your whole heart behind it, it's simply getting harder to play the game. There are still compromises between what you desire to do in order to make your achievements really count, and what you must do in order to maintain that surface day-to-day existence that has its own momentum. It is important not to get frustrated by this contrast, since in reality your best is all that you can do. With the Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday, February 14th, the same day as Valentine's Day, you might be celebrating your own heart as well as that of significant others. This is a time of re-thinking who you truly are and where you have gotten to along the road to wholeness which you are assaying to travel, acknowledging that there is a world from deep inside you, self-generated rather than dependent in any way on the opinions of consensus thinking. You are reformulating everything that has led you to this point as a story of getting closer and closer to the ideal. The New Moon of Tuesday, February 21st, takes place in your sector of home and family, and reemphasizes the deep basis within you for everything in the outer world that you do. This final week of the month and on into March celebrates this mystical side of life that represents the core of who you are. It is difficult sometimes to distinguish the still small voice within you from the rush of outer circumstance but it is increasingly important that you do so, and that you recognize inner achievement as fully as important as the outer.
