Scorpio Horoscope (October 23 - November 21)

You are on the verge of an important emotional breakthrough, Scorpio. Relationship with significant partners in your life is an involving component, but the real relationship is with your own sense of self. Your work in the world is vital and likely to pay off, but not without challenges to the way that you see yourself and your world. Future possibilities lie in wait for you but first you must solve the basic conundrum of your existence: where and for what higher purpose you are headed.

As the month begins, you are feeling your oats and in a most uncharacteristic fashion for you are a bit jerky with it, all over the place, as you channel surf new possibilities for yourself as fast as you can, only pausing to admire the view from this particular unique perspective before moving on to the next event. You are coming into yourself in some very important ways over the course of this monthly cycle, and not the least is in forming a bridge between the seen and the unseen parts of yourself that together constitute your world. The Full Moon that comes at the end of the first week of the month, taking place on Friday, October 6th, represents an important balance point between the concerns of the personal the relating self that inhabit your psyche, and in relationship to the deep unknown inner realm that is rich with meaning and only partially conflicted with quandary. The way that you structure your outer world is transforming along with your values, in response to seismic shifts at interior levels. Your very attitude to the material world that surrounds you might be in transition now, as the work you do on your outer presentation ripples through your psyche. With the New Moon that takes place on Saturday, October 21st, very nearly in your sign, you are entering a distinct new phase. You are more open than ever to the input of helpful partners at this time, both as a way of validating your own approach, which is more multifaceted than usual, and also as a counterweight to hold your balloon down from floating away entirely. As the last week of the month unfolds and the energy shifts to your birthday sign, Mercury turns retrograde in combination with an optimistic and positive energy that empowers you and at the same time enjoins you to reflect rather than act, and to think twice about previously settled commitments. This Mercury retrograde period is a particularly intense one, and will last into December, counting its escape from the retrograde shadow over the latter half of this next month.
