Scorpio Horoscope (October 23 - November 21)

You are expanding in your security orientation this month, Scorpio, making rather rapid progress at times. There is a change in the weather that is coming through to you, in which your sense of safety is based not so much on what you have or even who you know, but on how well you know yourself. You are looking more closely into the underpinnings of all your thoughts and belief-system values at this time. After the Winter Solstice, as you try these new ideas on for size, communicating these values to others around you becomes a sacred act, and your most important form of self-validation.

As the month begins, you are coming into a new way of looking at the world around you. You are questioning everything. Your sense of social responsibility is high right now, even to the point of obsession, and yet there is also a totally personal element to your activism since you are building for a future that makes sense to you and provides you with a real basis for ongoing security and deeper connection with your surrounding circle. At the time of the New Moon, on the weekend of December 8th and 9th, you are taking yourself and also the important relationships in your life with a great deal of playful seriousness while getting clearer regarding your own priorities. You will find your ultimate reward, at least mentally, from digging down into your core issues at this time and attempting to discern your inner motives. The payoff in terms of healing old wounds of peer-to-peer interactions from childhood, and in terms of awareness, is huge for you right now. You are reaching for a better and more complete sense of yourself based not on who but what you know. The First Quarter Moon of the following weekend, peaking on Sunday night or early on the morning of the 17th, poses some riddles which are really tests of your willingness to surrender yourself to the process of growth that you are engaged in right now. Then the Full Moon of Sunday the 23rd in your higher mind sector brings new perspectives home to you, and opens possibilities for exciting shared interactions around these ideas. Your road is turning and you have to go with it but the good news is that you planned your itinerary quite carefully in a wholly other state of being somewhere long ago and far away.
