This will be an amazing year for you, Scorpio, one of learning from and also teaching others. Your communication antennae are alerted right now to the possibility of intellectual and verbal contact, but even so, the deeper issues of your world and your soul-level connections are likely to predominate. Especially after the Full Moon, in the last ten days of the month, mystical ideas will turn you on and color your outreach. You see deeply, as always, and have ultimate goals firmly in mind. In this transformative time for all humanity, you have much to share with your fellow woman and man.

As the month and the year begins, you are likely to be feeling some degree of pressure for evolutionary change in your life, in keeping with the season. This month represents a powerful transition for you, when you are caught in an immense shift of values. Your optimism is high these days, and matched with also a high level of determination. The New Moon in your communication sector, taking place on Tuesday, January 8th, implies that you are likely to share your feelings with others around you, and that in this cycle of change you will apply your analytical powers to the task at hand. This task could be to move yourself beyond your present limitations. Since your ruler Mars is still retrograde until the end of the month, you may benefit by taking your ideas for what you want to accomplish as provisional rather than final right now.
