This is a big month for forging ahead, Scorpio, but slowly, slowly. You are getting entirely serious about your sense of purpose at this time, which is likely requiring some major adjustments to your plans and these will ultimately wind up working out better for you in the long run. You are all about getting clear regarding priorities, acceptance of change and intimacy right now, these three, and it seems that the more you have of the first two, the more you will have of the third - something for you to ponder. While you are getting really good at your outer world presence, all that you do depends entirely and absolutely on the progress that you are making almost daily within the secret places and innermost reaches of your own heart.

As the month begins, you are enjoying your outer-world presence and are full of serious plans for the future. Saturn is emphasized in these August skies and is found in your sector of societal connection. You might find that access to groups that you favor or the ways that you plug yourself into society have a glitch or a difficulty that you have to work to surmount. If so, the ultimate effect of rising above such difficulties will be to build character and to create a more long-lasting connection with what you are about in the world. It might help to remember that what comes easily is never as powerful as what you must struggle for, in order to eventually attain. The Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of Wednesday, August 5th, represents a time when you are motivated more by outer world presence than by inner, although your inner world is very active at this time also and in fact informs everything that you do in a subtle way. You have been aware perhaps, in peripheral terms of a powerful movement inside you that is difficult to characterize, and could be recognized as a spiritual revolution that has been taking place within you these last few months. This will affect different people to different degrees, but in general this quiet revolution lasts until beyond the end of the year. Some intimations of understanding of what this is all about for you might begin to dawn with the Last Quarter Moon of Thursday, August 13th. This is traditionally a time when you are aware of the drawbacks as well as the more positive aspects of what this month is about for you. At this time you can more clearly see where you are stuck and need to acknowledge the power of necessity and also where a more optimistic viewpoint might actually prevail. It's a powerful time when you are feeling both the positive ideal of what is possible and the sense of restriction that undercuts what can concretely be accomplished. The New Moon that comes along a week later represents a fresh start on these same issues, and a positive take is practically guaranteed, given the mix of outer planet energies swirling around you at this time, although the restrictions are still quite present for you also. It pays to take everything that happens as grist for your mill, something to inform you rather than a mere collision of circumstances.
