Scorpio Horoscope (October 23 - November 21)
Fixed Water. Your ruling planets are Mars and Pluto.

This is a powerful summer, no doubt about that, Scorpio, as you remain mightily engaged in attempting a fresh assessment of what your life's true work might actually consist of. Your future is evolving at a rapid rate, even though it is not at all clear just exactly where you are headed. You are nevertheless fully out there in the world making whatever it is happen. A contrasting internal shift in two stages at both the beginning and at the end of this month takes you toward the inside where you might find if not the answers at least the proper questions to ask. The mountain of your destiny rises before you, and the view from the top is worth the climb to get there.

As the month begins, you are entering into a period of time when you are not at all at home in and slightly detached from the world around you. You are also reviewing the past thirty years of your progress toward your goals and deciding what from all that time made the most sense for you in terms of your current level of understanding. You are now more interested in the practical application of knowledge, in helping to bring people together, rather than information simply for the sake of information. Perhaps religious or philosophical values have been more important to you in the past, but now you are finding that if you focus on a more mundane or worldly view, where higher knowledge counts only in so far as it is useful. You benefit from this utility along with others in your immediate circle. You are also interested in exploring an expanded viewpoint on what makes sense as a spiritual mission statement for you, one that will hold true from the deepest possible sense of your motivation. The New Moon of Monday, August 9th, represents an important time when the polarities of your situation are revealed to you even more poignantly than before. You are coming into fresh energy for career moves that you deem important in the grander scheme, and exploring how to fit your professional life into your more private set of values and goals. Although you have tons of energy for outer world accomplishment right now, you sense is that this is not the highest priority for you compared to the world of inner realities speaking to you in a voice that is soft but compelling. The First Quarter Moon a week later, taking place on Monday, August 16th, represents another potentially difficult crossroads, when you might feel the heat as well as the light in what you are currently attempting. You are getting a boost in this mid-month time period for your process of growth and understanding, but only to the extent that you fully acknowledge your ultimate dependence on Spirit inside you for fully determining your life direction. With the Full Moon that comes along about a week further into the month, on Tuesday, August 24th, you are reviewing and revising all your goals and your concept of a future that you can really live with. You are also finding yourself in a new world of possibility, especially regarding significant relationships in your life, which take on some of the benefit and carry some of the weight of including Spirit more fully into the equation.
