Scorpio Horoscope (October 23 - November 21)

This is a confusing and yet also a richly rewarding period of time for you, Scorpio, especially when you take spiritual progress into account as one measure of success. Relationship with significant others continues to haunt you and to provide valuable lessons for you going forward. You are still mulling over where past partnerships have taken you in your life, and why. You might find upon reflection that each has had its purpose in bringing you closer to an understanding of your deeper reason for being here. By month's end, as you continue to develop on your individual path, you might also find an entirely new conception of where to put the relationship eggs in your basket.

As the month begins, you are extremely active mentally and emotionally, and also reflecting inwardly on past relationships from all the different eras of your life. There is gold to be mined in terms of realizations that could come to you now of how the past and the present are in truth intermingled. This process has been going on for several weeks now and still has weeks yet to go. In spite of it you are simultaneously stepping out in style right now with little or no regard for the internal dialog that keeps raging; it is fortunate that you can actually do more than one thing at a time. You win when you stay as aware as possible at all levels of your being without becoming stuck in any one of them. The New Moon that comes along on Friday, November 5th, gives you fresh energy for all your various pursuits. You are feeling your way through to the ultimate truth of your situation now, and taking a firm stand for what you really believe in. This is also potentially a very confusing time, as all the different layers of your activity collide and perhaps conflict. The ground beneath your feet does not feel stable, but seem to be built on a mirage. Old patterns of behavior that undermine your faith in yourself might be very present to your conscious understanding at this time, and ripe for revue and reassessment. There are likely to be places within yourself that have become walled off from your awareness, perhaps as a result of childhood trauma that you had no other way of dealing with at the time. Now, in the present era, this response is inappropriate and even dysfunctional, but remains with historical persistence. It is important to recognize the hurt places within yourself and acknowledge these parts of your personality that correspond, flawed though they might be. This is the first step toward moving past them so that they no longer have the same degree of power over your life. The First Quarter Moon of Saturday, November 13th, brings interpersonal issues to bear on your situation, and could exacerbate these realizations. Family concerns as well could provide additional fuel for the fire at this time. It is important to recognize that things occur for a reason and that it is in your best interest to take the largest possible viewpoint on these matters; to see how understanding can help to move the mountains of your discontent within you. The Full Moon of Sunday, November 21st, comes as a culmination and a relative plateau of balance and contentment, although ridges to climb still arise beyond where you are standing. Venus has turned direct and is getting ready to make another pass through your sign, the third one this fall, so that the occasions for revising your notions concerning relationship with significant others in your life – and for your own internal integration which forms the basis for positive connection – continue to abound. There will be even greater opportunities for transcendence leading into December and into the New Year.
