Sufi rainbows of internal bliss make for a true cause of celebration this month, Scorpio. You are entering upon a quietly mystical space that has you also feeling exuberant in service to those around you. There is extraordinary punch in your personal energy field but is directed toward daily routine and a sense of duty that could feel like obligation until you turn it around and see it for what it is, a commitment to your Higher Self. You find yourself taking a more active role in partnering with significant others in your life, and in discovering joy in the smallest of details. There are rational and artistic motivations but they all translate into the spiritual sense of finally doing what you came into this life to perform.

As the month begins, you are extremely energized toward discovering your true purpose for being in this world, for occupying this body in this place and this time. Everything that you have been engaged in lately has pointed you to this, even as they equally represented more mundane concerns. You have one foot firmly planted in the real world of events and circumstances, with the other resting in heaven's doorway. You are able to deal with the myriad details of modern living as you attempt to discover the higher meaning of all your activity. The New Moon of late Monday evening, May 2nd, brings fresh energy to your purpose, and equal measures of confusion and determination to your evolutionary process. You are also making a fresh start with your relationship dynamics with others that are also evolving. Significant partners in your life add much to your own understanding of what you are currently up to. A spiritual factor is an important part of your makeup now, and represents a vertical dimension that is orthogonal to the normal working of the world, and can muddy the waters of ordinary concerns to the enrichment of a further shore that at the moment only glimmers in the distance. This can however be confusing to the narrower concerns of the more limited viewpoint that consensus thinking supports. The First Quarter Moon of Tuesday, May 10th, brings a degree of tension to your process and to your interpersonal connections. These could serve to highlight the places where you differ from where you need to be heading. This is the time in the lunation cycle when you get to see what part of your conception stemming from the time of the New Moon works and what doesn't. Significant others in your life continue to be an important factor in sorting these things out. The Full Moon of Tuesday, May 17th, brings a kind of culmination to one phase of what you are attempting to sort out, and presents further wrinkles in the relationship story that is unfolding for you over the course of this monthly cycle. There are old patterns of relating and also of your own self unfolding that will surface for you now, and which can be very useful for you to investigate further if you have the courage to face Self in these areas. Ancient residues of childhood trauma can be accepted for the purpose of moving part them; while difficult, this has the effect of ameliorating their continued influence on your behavior. With the Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday, May 24th, these matters could come to a head. You are both somewhat confused now by what has transpired over the last few weeks and also perhaps seeing more clearly where your previous efforts have failed you. You do well at this time to simply put one foot ahead of the other and let intuition and the beneficence of the universe guide your steps.
