Scorpio Horoscope (October 23 - November 21)
Fixed Water. Your ruling planets are Mars and Pluto.

This is a summer of metamorphosis, Scorpio. You are gradually drifting toward a new vision for yourself and your world and it begins with redefining your worldview. The changes might come at times rapidly and at times more slowly but they are definitely rolling and with the inevitability of a slow-moving freight train. You benefit from framing everything into the largest possible picture. Your work in the world, perhaps entering a new phase, is also bound to be affected, as you navigate turbulent waters that do not allow you to see clearly, perhaps not until almost the middle of September. In the meantime watch and wait, and seize your chances when they present themselves.

As the month begins, you are riding high on the energy of the previous New Moon from the last weekend of July, taking place in your career sector. With at least one part of yourself you are fully enjoying the rush � and the glories and the rewards of this material world. At the same time however, since nebulous and otherworldly Neptune is also quite prominent now in your sector of self-expression, you can feel the undertow of mystical magic that takes you to the inside, and that equally represents an important part of your current self-definition. The deep unconscious layers of your being are thus more exposed to your awareness than usual, even though they in actuality always represent a large factor in running the show. No real wonder in it; although this dual impulse is infinitely paradoxical. But paradox is commonplace and a necessary component of actual reality, a reality that is unfiltered by the blinders of mere logic. With the retrograde station of Mercury on Tuesday, August 2nd, in your sector of societal connection and future plans, you are drawn even more poignantly into the contemplation of your inner world. You might well find that over the next few days your passion will be to get to the bottom of what you feel, to come to the place that you started, as it were, and to know that place for the first time. Significant partners in your life are potentially very helpful in this quest, although there can be tension there as well, particularly with the First Quarter Moon of Saturday, August 6th. This is however an inspired tension that can provide the impulse for creativity. You might need to beware of sudden outbursts of reactivity at this critical juncture. Just breathe and count to ten, and try to remember the principle that you are never angry for the reason that you think you are. If you can suss out old and largely dysfunctional patterns of behavior stemming from early conditioning you are that much ahead of the game, although it is also quite true that these sorts of interactions can be confusing and unclear. The Full Moon of Saturday, August 13th, can represent either a real point of balance or else a fresh departure into another form of intensity, which can also however be revelatory. Through all this you are making great gains of insight that enable you to see more clearly what it is that you truly want for yourself, going forward. Things go better the more you are able to listen to the dictates of your higher self that come to you through your developing sense of intuition. With the Last Quarter Moon of Sunday, August 21st, you find yourself in a mode of summing up what has gone before in the three weeks of this illuminating lunation cycle from the very beginning of the month. The information gained will be valuable for years to come, as you are prepare to investigate a way to fit yourself into a future that you can really live with, and for.
