Scorpio Horoscope (October 23 - November 21)
Fixed Water. Your ruling planets are Mars and Pluto.

This is a tempestuous month for progress, Scorpio, although it is of a unique kind that might be hardly recognizable as progress in the eyes of the world. You are more active in inner realms than outer, although truly the inner feeds the outer. Your perspective is rapidly shifting on your day-to-day life and on your sense of purpose. Spirit calls you to action, and the only conceivable response is �yes,� but you will no doubt come to your own version of that affirmation in your own manner and in your own time. It�s a great time for journaling and for meditation on your condition. You are full of somewhat undirected energy and yet intent on establishing for yourself a new beachhead in a changing world.

As the month begins, you are riding the wave from the New Moon from the end of the previous month taking place in your sector of dream imagination, and that is providing a burst of energy that comes to you from the deepest and most hidden part of your psyche. You are fully engaged in paradox right now, since you have loads of energy as well for real-world pursuits, and yet there are factors powerfully within your psyche that are leading you to question those pursuits, or at least the simplistic way of looking at them that sees no further than material activity. You are apt to be confused by the conflict inherent in this division unless and until to resolve to dwell in the uncertainty of outcomes and viewpoints implied by living in an essentially mystical world. Once you do, the seeming conflict disappears and you are able to enjoy everyday life as a manifestation of the divine energy at play in the cosmos, as a game that rests firmly on nothing but the clouds of illusion and yet can be played for keeps just as though it were completely real. The First Quarter Moon of Monday, October 3rd, throws some curve balls into the mix in the form of conceptual snags for the mind to get caught up in. You are confronting the limitations of your mental process and it is difficult to sort out the actual truth of your experience; however when you are able to do so you gain tremendously in your understanding of what makes you tick in this important area of thought and of communicating that thought to others. You are gradually changing in this area of your life, so that the power of your words is taking on added dimensions through these somewhat dicey explorations. With the Full Moon of Tuesday, October 11th, you arrive at a plateau of sorts in your awareness as you reach out for a balance between self and other. This is a powerful time of contemplation, when you are taking an important stand for yourself in making your own way forward, independent of established models of reality. Rather than putting your trust in any outer authority, you are seeking to establish your own authority, in your own way, and making that work in the context of society also. You are also seeking a better balance between the ideal and the practical at this time, attempting to bring these two fundamental life factors into better integration with each other. The Last Quarter Moon of Wednesday, October 19th, ushers in a reflective period leading up to the New Moon in your sign toward month�s end. You are assimilating the lessons of the previous three weeks of lunation cycle up to this point, trying to make sense out of them, and out of your experience with significant partners in your life. This is a time when different points of view can collide, and yet with the right approach they can also complement each other to create a more vibrant symphony of meaning. The New Moon in your sign of the following week, taking place on Wednesday, October 26th, provides a fresh energy for your next stage of development in November, a month which promises to embody an equally profound cycle when new understandings will be revealed that ally with and build upon what has already transpired during the powerful month that is ending.
