Scorpio Horoscope (October 23 - November 21)
Fixed Water. Your ruling planets are Mars and Pluto.

Your world is out of joint, Scorpio, and only you know the way out of the trap that has been set for you. The nature of these times, and of your deeply felt intuitional responses, requires a fundamental shift. Where some of this will play out: home and family concerns, and finding your emotional sense of security within yourself. The good news is that your release is fully within your own grasp when you have the necessary fortitude. The bad news is that it does not come easily or entirely without pain. Of course you stand to lose some part of your normal waking identity in order to gain that which will outlast this least part of yourself, and hides you from who at base you truly are.

As the month begins, you are feeling the energy of the recent powerful New Moon from the end of last month in your home and family sector. You are more involved these days with family and tribal connections since not only have there likely been events that have transpired that make you look more closely into your dynamics in this important area but also due to a general mood of introspection that has prevailed with you lately and has allowed you to see things with a different and more internal perspective. You are also engaged in examining your close inter-personal relationships with an eye to better understanding them and their impact on your life. There is plenty of joy for you right now in this area of relationship support and also you have been encountering some limitations there, and some key questions that you have become more and more involved with seeking to answer. Your ruler Mars is retrograde right now in your sector of societal connection and group affiliation as well as future plans, and therefore you have been taking a more introspective stance lately. This is true even more so with the advent of the Full Moon of Tuesday, February 7th, when Saturn is just retrograde as well, and just on the edge of your identity sector. You are getting a dimly felt sense of limitation running through your life at this time that does not easily resolve itself, but is only a whisper. You might find that this is an excellent time to engage in a process of meditation, since it is possible that it will all become more clear when you take the time to turn within. The Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday, February 14th, Valentine's Day, is accompanied by this same contrast between getting yourself out there with verve and confidence and also feeling that there are insurmountable obstacles to achieving what you want, so that you constantly have to go to plan B � which is more than a little frustrating, especially if you don't have any idea why you keep underestimating the situation or your ability to get over. There are some ways that this conundrum works to your advantage however, since you are engaged at this time in a fruitful process of reevaluation of past successes and failures. You have much more energy to pursue your endeavors with the New Moon of the following week, taking place on Tuesday, February 21st in your creativity sector, although again this is something of a mixed blessing. You will be very much head in the clouds at that time, just when you need to get even more grounded, so the same paradoxical push and pull continues into late February and early March. The only thing to do is to let go, and to keep on letting go, but this is never easy for an active mind.
