Scorpio Horoscope (October 23 - November 21)
Fixed Water. Your ruling planets are Mars and Pluto.

You are finding your way forward, Scorpio, but slowly. Although you have spent weeks in mulling over basic issues of life direction and societal affiliation, you might tend to meander another month or two longer. With Mercury retrograde this month in your career sector, it is not recommended that you be taking concrete action. And with Mars entering into your sector of dream imagination and inner work, it is instead a terrific time to be journeying within, to rich interior realms rather than outward. You are perfecting your educational style and refreshing your concepts and the belief systems that drive your real-world explorations, and that might prove to be the best avenue for now; one that will ultimately lead you to your true heart�s desire, as you will come to know it.

As the month begins, you are feeling your way forward. This is a monthly cycle when your mind and your heart must work together rather than separately. What is very present to you now is the series of voices that represent the promptings of your inner world, what psychologist Carl Jung called the personal unconscious, meaning that you simply cannot get to where you are trying to get by intellectual means, and especially not by attempting to suppress the occasional upwelling of deep emotions. The time has come to pay close attention to these voices that are always trying to tell you something that is quite important and that can help with the contents of your more mundane physical-world task list. This includes your creative agenda and your communication with others around you. You are formulating new philosophies and a better understanding of where you might be headed in your life, and why. This is partly by admitting to your awareness this deeper feeling-toned information which can also be conceptualized as the influence of angel guidance or as intimations from your Higher Self. These are not easy concepts and require a subtle and side-stepping approach to get at them. To make your approach to this material is like stalking a bird in the wild. You must be flexible and sensitive to the slightest currents of energy. It is a basic concept of your identity that is on the line. You come out ahead of the game to the extent to which you can expand your thinking to include as an equal player the mystery of your deep interior world.

With the Full Moon of Tuesday, July 3rd, you are coming to a point of balance between this inner cosmos and the world of your outer concerns and interests. Venus, the relationship planet, is now direct and residing in your intimacy sector, so that you are also likely reaching out to others around you in a new way at this time, a culmination of the past two weeks of activity. As your ruler, Mars, slides into your sector of dream imagination and interior connection, you are being even more strongly pulled to the intimations of your inner world. The Last Quarter Moon of the following week, taking place on Tuesday, July 10th, is traditionally a time for reevaluation of everything that has gone before it in the cycle. There is much food for thought in your reflections now, as you meditate on the actions you have taken thus far, and on their consequences. Your priorities for your work in the world may indeed be shifting, and if so may have a few more revolutions of potential ins and outs before you are finished. This is especially so since Mercury begins its retrograde cycle on Saturday the 14th, and in your career sector. The Mercury retrograde period lasts for three weeks, into the second week of August, and it will not be until August 21st that Mercury escapes its retrograde shadow. During all this time you will tend to reconsider the consequences of current events, being more introspective than even at the beginning of the month, rather more important for you than for others you may encounter, because Mercury is retrograding in your tenth sector of outer world connection. The New Moon of Wednesday, July 18th is another important crossroads, when new energy floods into your conscious awareness, supporting your effort at the integration of your inner needs and for potential career reset. Then in the final week of the month, the First Quarter Moon in your sign, taking place on the morning of Thursday, July 26th, will be a period of relative crisis and trial, when everything that has been part of this monthly cycle will be tested in some fashion. This is the time when you will know that what you are attempting is viable, not so much mentally, but by feeling it in your heart
