Taurus Horoscope (April 20 - May 20)
Fixed Earth. Your ruling planet is Venus.

You are in the midst of a challenging and fruitful period of time this month, Taurus. Your garden is blooming as you marshal your resources, but there are still struggles with helpful partners to contend with, and maybe a few brushes with an emotionally distant authority. You are in the midst of an important restructuring of your home environment, and your recognition of who you are at center, and something has to give. You are already finished with giving in to the authority of voices other than your own, although it might take you quite a while to realize that.

As the month begins, you are likely to be finding solace in creature comforts and material things, riding the energy of the New Moon from the end of last month in your resources sector, and the entrance of your ruler Venus into your sign. This is a time for you to concentrate on yourself and on knowing more fully just who you are, as you are also undoubtedly drawn towards simply finding contentment with your circumstances. In another way however, you are wrestling with personal issues that mirror those that plague our society at this time, and with discerning the true nature of partnership in your life and how to better apply your own core level focus to reach out with compassion to others around you. There is a synthesis that can be reached but it does not come easily, and you benefit by staying patient and waiting for the stream to clear. The Full Moon of Sunday, June 11th, is a time when a deeper integration is possible. You are in the process of great changes below the surface at this time, affecting the way that you connect with intimate others, and at the time of the Full Moon you may find yourself making some movement toward more fully sharing yourself with important partners. The powerful Last Quarter Moon of the next weekend, taking place on Sunday, June 18th, may lead you to greater consciousness of your situation in general and with respect to close connection with others in particular. All month long you are also likely to be dealing with issues of old patterns of authority and your reaction to it, and these may also come to a head at this time, commingling with partnership concerns. The changes that you are putting yourself through at this time will have their eventual outcome in a more solid acceptance of previously walled-off portions of your psyche, and in a better sense of integration of all your parts. Remember that it's a long road that has no turning.
