Taurus Horoscope (April 20 - May 20)
Fixed Earth. Your ruling planet is Venus.

You are seeing things right now as though through a glass, darkly. You are connecting with your public statement all right but in an altered way, only partly present. Your vision for your future self continues to change based on recent life events, with irrevocable shifts in your basic fabric. Still committed to existing plans, as you focus your energies on the game that everyone is playing, you are simultaneously aware of worlds within worlds of your own making that defy the rational order and take you deeper inside yourself. The trick, of course, is to pursue your real-world goals with a spiritual silver lining, and to act as if nothing has changed.

As the month begins, you are putting quite a lot of your energy into the public sphere, although with a softer voice than might be expected given the nature of things in the mundane event-oriented world. You are simultaneously tuned to the inner realms of your psyche in a big way, and following soul-level pursuits such as home and family concerns or seeking to get a better handle on your psychological roots, the deepest basis of your being. Who you are at the core of course fundamentally colors your appearance in the phenomenal world outside yourself, and the integration of these two modes of being might be one important lesson of this time period for you. The Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon of March 3rd may light the way to a new direction in your societal connection. This is a month of visioning new possibilities for yourself into being, made more complex by the multifaceted stew of motivations that surrounds you right now. The Last Quarter Moon of the following weekend is also an important period of time, when you are both inspired to see possibility in everything, and running into potential limitations with what you can concretely accomplish in this imperfect world. Vision will triumph to the extent that you can let go of assumptions and take everything that happens as it comes. This is an essentially positive stage. The Solar Eclipse New Moon that follows on the 18th represents a new way of going forward into a more viable future and also a cutting off, perhaps painfully, of the past. There is loads of fresh energy in your life right now, and it is only logical that something must be left behind in order to give room to the newer conception. To change is to live; to remain static is to go the other way. Your public statement is more important than ever, as modified by taking in the idea that how you come across in the fields of ambition right now directly reflects the way that you pursue your inner goals. You may be discovering yet again that true security in this world can be had only by a process of including material striving into a larger paradigm.
