Taurus Horoscope (April 20 - May 20)
Fixed Earth. Your ruling planet is Venus.

You are entering into a magical time of possibility, Taurus. Starting with the New Moon of March 7th, this is the best chance that you will have all year to imagine new ideas for your future. This is also a time of idealization, potentially bordering on illusion. Whatever you can dare to dream right now you can ultimately accomplish, but a dose of reality-check must also be a part of the equation. This is also a month of growth in perspective, when potential misconceptions can be seen more clearly for what they really are. You are on an important path of self-development right now, and a change in perception may be all that it takes.

As the month begins, you are feeling a strong drive for outer achievement. This urge to succeed is tempered however by an equally powerful awareness of patterns of behavior that in the past have affected your outward manifestation and public mission statement in ways that were not always conducive to the effect you were trying for. These behaviors may have been carried over from the time of early childhood, or from the peer-to-peer interactions of early school life when you were subject to forces beyond your control and had no choice but to give in. Even though these attitudes are not a good representation of your current state of mind, these kinds of associations may have become ingrained and relatively unconscious and old habits die hard. It is therefore extremely beneficial when you shine the light of your conscious reason upon your underground activities, and this has been happening in some fashion or another over these last few weeks and months. The New Moon of Friday, March 7th, energizes your sector of networking and societal connection, and thus represents a great opportunity to visualize new possibilities for yourself going forward. Not only that, but also this dynamic configuration gives you a chance to see more closely into the blueprints that guide your behavior from the less aware parts of your psyche. Your major task at this time is to allow the realizations of this period of time to come over you without shutting them out or feeling any shame associated with the deeper realizations that you may be able to muster up. You benefit when you simply to allow the information to come into your consciousness. You will then have the opportunity to chart a new course for yourself that is nearer to your truest intention, by a combination of your own will and that of the universe that surrounds you. The First Quarter Moon a week later on, taking place on Friday, March 14th, traditionally represents a crossroads in your process, when you may find that not everything that you dream can be actualized. The resolution to this apparent dilemma may be in a third option that takes greater consciousness into account and that is able to metaphorically remove the mountain of your obstacles. At the time of the Full Moon a week later, you are likely to feel that you have come through an important transition and to be able to share with others around you a more integrated stance. Even seeming limitation is your friend at this time, asserting where you must bend your vision to conform to the actualities of practical consideration.
