Taurus Horoscope (April 20 - May 20)
Fixed Earth. Your ruling planet is Venus.

The tumblers are falling into place, Taurus. Your world has changed dramatically in the last few weeks and you are perhaps only just now beginning to recognize it. The idealism with which you have been approaching your existence lately has not been wasted, as you find yourself less dependent on consensus thinking and more and more connected to discovering your own unique way forward. The period of time from September 7th to the 15th is powerful for you, and leads you into new territory in terms of dedication to your life's true path. With the Fall Equinox of the 22nd and on into October, you are launching yourself with the help of significant others in your life, while also taking serious stock of where you need to reexamine your priorities.

As the month begins, you are feeling energized. The August 30th New Moon just passed took place in your self-expression sector, and, accompanied by the entrance of your ruler Venus into Libra, makes for a potent cosmic cocktail of relating energy. Everyone around you may seem to have that glow perhaps because you are exuding it yourself. You are also strong for service to others at this time, with energy for making your everyday activity a labor of love and for finding the way to put your best foot forward in a truly helpful and responsible fashion. It can be an attractive combination. The First Quarter Moon of Sunday, September 7th and the week following is another important time, when these same themes come to life in a new way, perhaps through the agency of conflict. Powerful connection with others at this time leads ultimately to growth and better understanding. You are in a learning mode in general these days, and another feature of this monthly cycle is that you are somewhat slowed down in your pell-mell activity which may allow for time to not only smell the roses but also to appreciate them more fully. The Full Moon a week later on Monday, September 15th, may bring surprising insights to your story and prepare the way for new life plans. You are meeting self through others right now, and finding an idealized place to head for in your life in general and in your workplace in particular. You are impatient with surface glitter; only the path with heart will appeal to you right now. The Last Quarter Moon of the 21st is accompanied by the Fall Equinox one day later, on the morning of Monday the 22nd, and marks a time when you will take a more thoughtful position on the arc of development represented by the preceding three weeks. Mercury is also slowing down in your sector of discipleship to your highest intention for yourself, and about to retrograde there, which provides another self-reflective theme. Where you are headed and why may loom large in your thinking over these next five weeks of so, as you begin to sort out also the mix of idealism and practicality necessary to chart your course through the perilous waters of modern times. Partnership with others is helpful in planning your journey, but the final analysis your pathway is yours and yours alone to discover.
