Taurus Horoscope (April 20 - May 20)
Fixed Earth. Your ruling planet is Venus.

You are springing for success in many quite different ways over this monthly period, Taurus. Your work in the public arena draws you powerfully onward, the indications all are on go. This beautiful series of opportunities leads you further into the world, with a magical and optimistic vision for the future. Whatever you put your mind to right now is possible; your wishes become manifest. On the other hand, there is also a vital part of you that is in-dwelling within the solitary spaces of your unconscious mind. Your higher Self, or your angel guidance, is really pulling for you and alerting you to the most important part of your experience, which is not only an eternal, but also an internal one.

As the month begins, you are feeling the optimism of new beginnings and new possibilities. It is likely that the ones of these that are supremely alive for you right now are the very ones that draw upon your fundamental connection to the All That Is, or Spirit. The working out of Spirit in the world is essentially orthogonal to the mundane plane of existence, and this is a paradoxical time for you. On the one hand there is a terrific opportunity to remake your world in your own image, closer to the ideals that you aspire to. You are drawn to imagine success in your endeavors right now and your wishes have unusual power so that whatever you sincerely visualize has an excellent chance of coming to pass. On the other hand you are very focused on inner rather than outer priorities, the more so with the retrograde of your ruler Venus in your sector of dreams. Especially after the 6th, when the retrograde period of Venus begins, you more fully inhabit the internal and rich life of the soul than the one in which you must almost reluctantly transact business. The days surrounding the First Quarter Moon of Tuesday and Wednesday, March 3rd and 4th, bring out this theme of the contrast between worlds. You are attempting at this time to resolve contradictions between what you want and what must simply be. The Full Moon a week later, taking place on Tuesday, March 10th, also highlights and celebrates these concerns. No matter how you slice it, you are still operating in the ordinary world for purposes of bread and butter, in spite of the tremendous idealism you bring to the table right now. This is not a bad thing. You have a body as well as a soul and you constantly mediate between a state of grace and a mild state of insanity. This is life. In the last two weeks of the month, particularly with the Aries New Moon of Thursday, March 26th, you are powerfully drawn once more to the inside, while still needing to deal with the practical and the pragmatic. The bottom line is that while you are very invested these days in real world issues, in order to be fulfilled you must remain firmly committed to the unseen world that consistently underlies, supports and informs your vision of what is concretely realizable. You won�t be satisfied with anything less right now.
