Taurus Horoscope (April 20 - May 20)

This is a glorious and somewhat uncertain time for you, Taurus. Your creativity is reaching for a peak of excellence through the difficulties of achieving it, and the question might be where to go next. Important soul-searching and soul building over the past weeks and months have led you further along with changes of attitude than you might currently even recognize. Now an amalgam of inspiration combined with personal necessity is forcing your hand. It is no longer a question of what you will become when you grow up but of how you will grow into what you have secretly become.

As the month begins, you are riding the wave of energy from the recent New Moon conjunct Saturn in your sector of self-expression. There are feelings in the air of a powerful redefinition that could reshape your real-world presence. You are also strong on service at this time. You are beginning to more clearly see how collaboration with and assistance to the greater collective that surrounds you forms an important part of a set of principles that you are willing to live by. Your creativity is powerful right now, and leads you to expressing your higher intention both artistically, and in communication with others, keeping in mind this essentially spiritual bent. The Full Moon that comes along on the first weekend of the month, taking place on Saturday evening, October 3rd, marks a balance point, whereby the transformation that you are undergoing, and that been in process for many weeks now, is facilitated. This thorough-going metamorphosis involves not only your perception of the world around but how you relate to others also, and how other points of view can enhance your own. The opinions of others matter, of course, but only so much in the long run. If you can manage to strike the delicate equilibrium required you will be richly rewarded. The New Moon that comes along two weeks later, on Saturday evening, October 17th, might once again tip the scales to the positive. This represents a powerful time for you, stimulating great optimism and great idealism, especially regarding your work in the world. You can see clearly your way into a better future. This is a path that is optimistic and forward-looking for you and one where you can definitely make your mark. You are finding a sense of higher purpose in what you are accomplishing, and nothing less will satisfy you at this time. Your enthusiasm is so great that this idealistic sense of purpose, perhaps even bordering on a state of illusion, becomes a driving force that can lead you ever onward. You are launching yourself out into the world in a new way. You might need to look for balance once again, so that your feeling of can do is also compensated by a healthy sense of limitation and caution. The last two weeks of the month will be caught up in the working out of these ideas, punctuated by the First Quarter Moon of Sunday, October 25th, when tensions might rise and when the agenda of your will pushes you even more strongly as you attempt to amalgamate the views of others into your own. Resistance to the process that you are going through is in the end futile, but it is also to be expected, since resistance is a natural part of the human condition. It just helps to be aware of it when it comes up, and to realize that the more there is the more you will suffer. Sooner or later you will have to go over the waterfall, so you might as well just hold your nose, point your feet, and jump.
