Taurus Horoscope (April 20 - May 20)
Fixed Earth. Your ruling planet is Venus.

You are launching out in many new directions, Taurus. This is among other things the fruit of a changing and more inclusive worldview that has been emerging within your soul lately to challenge prevailing wisdom, and with amazingly positive results. This is a season of contrasts, whereby what used to work for you no longer does work, and what was formerly disregarded becomes the winning formula. Whatever comes forth from your own deep center will prosper for you right now. Keeping your awareness level high is crucial, and leads you directly into an unfolding future based on inner rather than outer reality.

As the month begins, you are very much present in the world of career and accomplishment, solidifying your methodology in this area. It is an interesting period that you face now, coming out of a time of dreaming a greater reality for yourself into being, and taking simultaneously a super-spiritual and also an extremely practical approach toward your work in the world. You are strong on service to others at this time, as you enthusiastically plan for a future of your own devising, independent of outmoded thought forms and consensus attitudes. It is a strange amalgam of concepts and energies that you face, as you reconcile ancient beliefs that may weigh you down versus an idealist vision of the future, and also deal with the potential self-deception of an over-commitment to idealism. You are also settling into a new conception of home, family and partnership. These colliding thought-forms and swirling energies reach one moment of tension in the Last Quarter Moon taking place on Friday, February 5th. This is a time of summing up what the past three weeks have meant for you, that originated at the time of the Solar Eclipse New Moon of mid-January, and a time when partners come more directly into the picture of your fluctuating hopes and fears.. The New Moon that takes place a week later, arriving on Saturday, February 13th, takes you deeper and also moves you in an optimistic way toward a future that you can really live with. There is great upheaval in your life, and yet it all seems fated and even enjoyable. You are both very exposed and out there in the world and paradoxically quite inner and reclusive now. In addition, it is possible that the residue of past trauma will come to the fore in your thinking, or that you might feel a sense of spiritual angst based on the notion that you cannot fully heal your separation from the divine. The journey down into the depths of your soul has its purpose as well as its scary characteristics. It is better to turn your gaze inward with relief at abandoning pretext of any kind than to proceed with fear of what you might encounter since everything that you discover there is your own. Your strengths and even your weaknesses reflect your uniqueness and are holy. The First Quarter Moon that takes place a week later, on Sunday, February 21st, is, as is usual for this quarter Moon, a time of adjustment out of the impulse from the beginning of the cycle to what makes sense and is viable. This is also a time when tension could enter your process, perhaps in the form of a clash between habitual values and the new mandate for change that you are currently in the process of adopting. At the very end of the month with the Virgo Full Moon, taking place on Sunday the 28th, it all becomes more clear. A strong sense of possibility serves as a springboard for action.
