Taurus Horoscope (April 20 - May 20)
Fixed Earth. Your ruling planet is Venus.

You are this month coming into a profound redefinition of your own identity, Taurus. This is of course a culmination of the many-faceted phases that have led you to this moment in time, and is yet in some ways an entirely new departure. Your changing sense of self corresponds to changes in your worldview and also to the extent that you take your mission in this context more seriously � a feeling of life purpose that is connected more to intuition than to consensus thinking or even to rationality. You are in a naturally fortunate space right now, where all sorts of things come relatively easily, and important opportunity presents itself. You benefit by remaining as open as you can to all your possibilities in order that you truly rise to this occasion.

As the month begins, you are full of pizzazz from the recent New Moon in your sector of creativity and self-expression. Your ruler Venus is also just breaking away from it�s month-long collusion with the Sun, coming out from behind it to shed her own light. Venus will begin the Evening Star phase in late September, when her beauty will once more grace the just-after-sunset skies. Your identity is taking on more and varied colors accordingly, especially with Jupiter forming a Grand trine with Pluto and your ruler, Venus, in the Fire sectors of your Solar Chart. It could be said that the reflective time of the Mercury retrograde period that is just now passing away has contributed to tectonic shifts in consciousness for you that are in the subtext of your psyche and that are only now emerging, over the course of the next few monthly cycles. The First Quarter Moon taking place on Sunday, September 4th, brings an element of tension to your process that has within it seeds of furthering your sense of purpose. You are transforming throughout this climactic year, whether you are able to fully acknowledge this or not, and this particular juncture might serve you by making your changes more evident. There could be issues that arise with important partners in your life, and if these involve the polarity of opposing viewpoints they could yield to a third way that represents not so much compromise but synthesis, a stepping outside of the seeming limits of the conflict. The Full Moon a week later, taking place on Monday, the 12th, perhaps represents a better state of balance both within yourself and with others. You are becoming more conscious of old patterns and how they can trip you up unnecessarily, a situation that can be avoided by greater internal acceptance of your own dark places. It is also a time when � with Mercury past its shadow � you can look ahead more confidentially to making fresh starts on existing situations. Then the Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday, September 20th, brings fresh reflective and philosophical energy to bear on everything that has gone before. This is a time of reassessment and realignment of your understanding of your purpose going forward. You are aided in this effort at summing up your past and future circumstances by a deep sense of intuition that is available to you now, and that is extremely pertinent to what you are up to in terms of soul-purpose. It is difficult to tune in to these whispers from the cosmos but it is well worth the effort and the unique sensibility required. The Fall Equinox a few days later, on the 23rd, is a time of great power for you in this regard. You benefit the more you can pay close attention to these inner stirrings.
