Taurus Horoscope (April 20 - May 20)
Fixed Earth. Your ruling planet is Venus.

Welcome to your internal depths, Taurus. This is not at all related to the pleasures of the physical world that you normally negotiate with such ease, and also might come unexpectedly, perhaps almost totally out of the blue, but you are entering into a deeply meditative period of time. The New Moon eclipse from last month packs a soft punch and motivates you into greater connection with others, while the Wounded Healer, Chiron, is also strongly activated as visionary ideals continue to call. This takes you to important realizations that are difficult but ultimately rewarding. Your possibilities now involve inner work fully as much as outer. You are beginning to recognize that for you right now �the path with heart,� as Castaneda puts it, is the only path that is truly worth following.

As the month begins you are feeling your way forward, intent somehow on getting to the place you need to go even though there is no clear answer to where exactly that might turn out to be. The New Moon eclipse from the last week of the previous month took place in your sector of intimacy and personal evolution and you are experimenting with both these areas of activity. The one is a complex and shifting avenue of connection with others around you and the other turns out to be a mode leading to greater connection with yourself. You are putting ideas together differently now than you have in the past, partly with the help you get by incorporating the perspective of others. You are paying greater attention lately to little-understood mandates from your inner world, and can see that you need to move ahead with these even though the end result is only dimly perceived. There is achievement implicit in these stirrings even though it is not really achievement in the sense that that world normally acknowledges. Understanding your own internal mechanisms could mean becoming familiar with your suffering at some level and that is of course a scary proposition, and yet in some sense that understanding is essential for you right now in order to get to what needs to be accomplished. The somewhat stressful First Quarter Moon that comes along late on Thursday December 1st, and early Friday, serves to highlight these themes. Interpersonal conflicts could arise at this time, and in the weekend that follows. This is when you might begin to see the drawbacks as well as the positive sides of what you are trying to make happen within the confines of your own mind and heart. On the other hand you may also � as a consequence of pushing up against another viewpoint � be forced to strengthen your convictions regarding your position. With the Full Moon of Saturday, December 10th, a Lunar Eclipse, you are in a more balanced posture both with others and with the idea of more enthusiastically accepting your own process. This is a powerful juncture for you, a time when you are perhaps ready to more fully acknowledge your shifting worldview and to forge your own sense of security, independent of the ideas of others. As Mercury stations over the following week, you will perhaps be able to acknowledge old patterns of behavior that are also now shifting. You might recognize that these have been based on a false concept of what you needed at an earlier stage of your personal evolution, and be ready to move beyond them. The Last Quarter Moon of Saturday, December 17th, is traditionally a time of reassessment and reevaluation, and with Mercury still working its way back to the zodiacal degree where it stationed last month, this is true even more so for you right now. You are engaged in summing up the experiences and your reactions to these experiences, and making more sense of them than heretofore. Your creativity is unleashed by loosening some of these stuck places within you, and in the last week of the month you can really start to feel it. With the Christmas Eve New Moon of Saturday, December 24th, you are entering into what is essentially a new world for you, just in time for the advent of what will be for you especially an extremely powerful year of 2012.
