Taurus Horoscope (April 20 - May 20)
Fixed Earth. Your ruling planet is Venus.

This is a time of great change, Taurus and yet as well a homecoming beyond conditioning to your original self. A new day is dawning for you, in this your birthday time of the year, and it involves setting priorities at a more internal level while simultaneously re-evaluating your stake in the game and where you are headed. An idealistic streak has been building and the remaining question is how to handle it and to integrate it without losing track of actions within the purely physical plane of ordinary endeavor or the life of the body. You need to have both sides of the human experience; it is all real and yet all not. Only ego imagines otherwise. When you can manage to get out of your own way, the floodgates of your creativity open.

As the month begins, in the wake of the potent New Moon in your sign from the 21st of the previous month, you are charging forward full of pizzazz, and yet thoughtful too. You are imbued with the creative energy of Mars moving in direct motion once again in your sector of creative self-expression, and pulling along with it the numinous and otherworldly energies of the cosmos. It�s a party all right but not without its more cautious side, as symbolized by Saturn in your house of day-to-day events and of higher purpose. The planets indeed conspire to bring a higher mind approach to everything that you do right now, and these include the mystical and slightly shady energy of Neptune in your sector of friendship, wishes and hopes, and future plans. You are in a very idealistic space right now, with a strong desire to save the world and yourself along with it, and yet also potentially subject to illusions concerning what you might actually be able to accomplish. This tendency is offset by a feeling of concreteness to your evaluations now, and of playing for keeps. What you are dealing with right now is a powerful impulse for change and an even deeper connection with Spirit, while also you are trying for a mature and responsible approach to your life. The Last Quarter Moon of Saturday, May 12th, a traditionally a time of questioning and reevaluation, for you right now is also a time of integration. You are even more definitely settled on committing to a new way forward. You are operating from the standpoint of a fundamentally optimistic point of view as you begin to work out the details of what that will eventually look like. On Tuesday, May 15th, your ruler Venus retrogrades in your sector of values and resources. You might feel a shift in the energy as you regroup toward a more internal stance for the next few weeks. This puts a crick in your finances but is likely to improve the balance in your spiritual bank account as you continue to reassess your purpose and formulate your plans.
