Taurus Horoscope (April 20 - May 20)
Fixed Earth. Your ruling planet is Venus.

This is a joyous coming-out party for you, Taurus, at least partly. The world is changing rapidly and you along with it. It also feels as though your feet were being held to the fire, with no escape possible. You still find yourself in the midst of change, which could be adventuresome or difficult, your choice. It certainly is true that your life can seem like unavoidable suffering until and unless you can wrap your head around it in a different way. You are looking to the future now, sizing up the difficulty of the climb, and taking the information from deep inside yourself as one potential key for necessary adjustments. Your inner warrior is standing firm even if your outer one might quail at times before the magnitude of what you are attempting.

As the month begins, you are riding the wave of the very powerful Solar Eclipse and New Moon from the 20th of last month that took place in your resources sector. Since your ruler Venus is also retrograde in the same area of your solar chart, through nearly the end of the current month, your finances and other resources are subject to new thinking and are in a unique process of regeneration. Your value system is also undergoing an important degree of redefinition as you explore it more fully in the light of new understanding. Your basic world-view is in a corresponding state of flux, so that you no longer entirely know which end is up. It might be that you find it no longer at all possible for you to be content with basing a sense of self-worth on financial rewards, or even to pay lip-service to that outmoded idea. It is perhaps possible that some other defining principle is looming into view so that you might begin to see yourself as for example an inventor or an artist. Even when you remain with your day job your self-definition could be changing, and the new one might have more appeal than considering yourself as engineer or worker bee caught amongst society�s gears. You are perhaps now entering into a mode of responsibility that corresponds to inner guidance, rather than to the dictates of consensus thinking as reinforced by modern media. It helps to recognize that although you are not so serious anymore in terms of society�s normative dictates, this in no way implies that you are not ultimately serious regarding beginning a new phase that is more in tune with what you truly want to get out of life. The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse that comes along on Monday, June 4th, represents one peak of this process, signaling a moment of tension and yet also of fruition. Your creative self-expression is in service to your highest ideals in an artistic way, although since you might find different attitudes that run the other way, you could also encounter differences of opinion flaring up. Even if they do, it could help by way of contrast, as others in your life provide a counter and a foil for your thinking. The Last Quarter Moon of Monday, June 11th, is typically a time of reassessment when you are mulling over the events of the previous three weeks of the cycle in the light of new understanding. You are intent on finding a path forward for yourself that is consistent with soul purpose and that comes from a place of inner awareness rather than surface comfort. In taking this deeper level of realization into account you are perhaps fulfilling a promise you have made to yourself in other times and places, and that you are only now beginning to get a handle on. With the New Moon of Tuesday, June 19th, there is fresh energy for your process. A foggy mystery of idealism continues to surround your plans for the future, which are also indebted to the rapidity of the changes in the way that you perceive your dream imagination and the guidance that you receive from within. The last week of the month is as powerful as any that have preceded it, with the Uranus-Pluto square coming to perfection on Sunday the 24th, the tension-filled First Quarter Moon following two days later on the evening of the 26th, and the station of your ruler Venus on the very next day. You are on a huge learning curve hosted by the cosmos, now coming into its own, that takes the inner lighting-flash of angel guide informants as seriously as the news report or the evidence of your senses. There are these considerations of deep inner work and shifting values as backdrop to a revitalized sense of dynamic process that shatters and reformulates all your beliefs, as though taken apart in a giant metaphorical cocktail shaker and then poured out and rearranged in closer alignment to Spirit and to how at bottom you really function.
