Taurus Horoscope (April 20 - May 20)
Fixed Earth. Your ruling planet is Venus.

Things are changing for you, Taurus, but the transformation is subtle and has more to do with values and belief systems than with any concrete outer form. You are making significant movement over the course of this month wherein you recognize the limitations and the painful necessities as well as the idealistic optimism of what you are attempting. You are perhaps more conscious of dysfunctional patterns and looking for the way out. By month�s end a form of resolution comes, along with the determination to act accordingly although your plans still require adjustment. Your goals might be amorphous but your angel guides understand them better than you and will conspire with your Higher Self for progress in spite of whatever it is that you might be thinking along the outer layers of your personality.

As the month begins, you are engaged in a giant learning experience. You are beginning to recognize that you are at all times a student of Universal U, as well as a work in progress, and that the prelude to this moment in time is your entire life up to now. With your ruler, Venus, first going retrograde in late May in your sector of resources and values, then engaging in its vaunted early June Transit of the Sun in this pivotal area, followed by her more recent station to direct motion in aspect to Pluto, your values have been under siege and morphing into some new form almost before your very eyes. The traditional view of these events is that your meditations on this subject include the obvious fact that materialism tells only part of the story and a minimal one at that. As we have it, famously, from the biblical phrase, we render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar�s, but unto God the things that are God�s. In taking this new look at an old issue you are helped along in a rather massive way by the intuitional level of your inner vision, a factor in your life that is much misunderstood and rather discredited in the modern age, but which speaks to you over the course of this year with greater and greater power. You are undaunted in accepting the information that comes to you in this way, in spite of mainstream nay-sayers that have trouble going in any way beyond what they can see and feel in the more obvious physical world. You are equally ready to put to rest the doubts that creep in via your own logically oriented mind. The belief systems in support of this daring acceptance are already somewhere inside you but might need encouragement to come out and play with the remainder of your psyche, constituting as they do such a radical morphological shift from the tenants of consensus thinking. You are entering into the second half of the year in a much different place than when you started.

With the Full Moon of Tuesday, July 3rd, you are even more aware of these issues and striving for a better form of balance as you take the promptings of your inner world more firmly into account. Your sense of the value of what is beyond the physical, and underlies it, is growing more and more definite over time, if that word can even apply. You are entering into a fortunate circumstance wherein some of the sense of limitation that practicality has imposed is lessened in its impact giving you more room for an expansive approach to what you feel you need to be able to do in order to be fully satisfied. The Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday, July 10th, brings up more questions than answers as to attempt to make better sense out of the compromise between the numinous architecture of inner space with real-world concerns and issues. You are seeking a blend of both, to the extent that it is possible to find it, and this indeed should be your goal since it is a mistake to ignore either end of the polarity. With the retrograde of Mercury on Saturday, July 14th, you might feel a shift to an even more introspective stance. Mercury�s retrograde period lasts five weeks or so, when you count the time to recover its lost Zodiacal ground, known as its retrograde shadow. This is an excellent time for naval gazing and for writing down your thoughts but not such a good moment for taking unusual direct action. When the New Moon hits on Wednesday, July 18th, in your communications sector, although still preoccupied internally, you will have fresh energy for reaching out to others around you. You are more concerned now than ever with your progress toward specific evolutionary goals, whether or not you are yet fully conscious of this higher purpose. The First Quarter Moon of the final week of the month, taking place on Thursday, July 26th, could have the effect of making more obvious to you what is in fact your soul�s true intention.
