Virgo Horoscope (August 23 - September 22)
Mutable Earth. Your ruling planet is Mercury.

This might turn out to be a difficult month for you, Virgo. You are definitely quite full of yourself these days, but that could also be a Good Thing, as you have the verve and the moxy you need to adjust to some novel realities. You are transforming at the core, changing from the inside out, so that in the end you will be barely recognizable. The way that you show up for others is also somewhat indefinable right now, as unexpected enlightenment comes your way from friends and valued partners. The river of your life is ever shifting, ever growing, never the same one as you stepped into even as recently as this morning.

As the month begins, you find yourself engaged in depth researches into the root causes of your security needs and perhaps into the barriers that prevent their finding better expression. You are in the midst of an exciting and soul-searching time right now, exciting because of the possibility for real change, and made more difficult to the extent that you let yourself be subjected to your quite normal resistance to profound movement in the underlying and more unconscious areas of your psyche. The Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse on the 7th is likely to unleash some of these concerns and may even mark a surprising turn-around of one kind or another. Helpful partners may also prove instrumental in creating new pathways or else may remind you of the difficulty of truly connecting deeply with another when such complexity lurks below the surface of each one of you. You are likely to be mentally exploring relationship itself and what that means for you, and what may be your partner's unique contribution to the world and to you also. It's a tricky thing to realize that on the one hand, all relationship with others is a projection of your own secret desires, while on the other hand a real person is out there who more or less matches your inner picture and that it's up to you to reconcile the discrepancies. The Last Quarter Moon comes along on Thursday, September 14th, and you might be facing up to some tough realizations. There are places that you just don't fit, and you are forced to cut bait and reevaluate or else pour it on and try for a Hail Mary touchdown. The New Moon that comes along a week later, in the last degree of your sign, represents a fresh start on finding yourself and facing your security needs, with fresh conundrums to confound you and perhaps to pleasantly surprise you. Enlightenment is available, but you must first fully connect with your own center. Bereft of that refuge you lose the game, but when you accept yourself more completely, warts and all, you win. In any case you are in the midst of a good learning experience which will help you to sort out what you really can take with you into your next cycle and what you must somehow bring yourself to let go of.
