Virgo Horoscope (August 23 - September 22)
Mutable Earth. Your ruling planet is Mercury.

This is a mostly internal month for you, Virgo, but a quietly exciting one. You are unusually tuned in at this time to your dreams and your compassionate vision. You are always somewhat connected to these mystical places behind and beyond the earthly plane of schedules and events, now even more so. Finances may be on hold at this time, but that is not the real issue. Rather than struggling to adhere to a mundane perspective, you benefit when you make friends with the ocean of cosmic unity within. Although often unacknowledged, it is largest and richest part of you.

As the month begins, you may be finding that something regarding relationship with others is not fully serving you, and that adjustments are required. You have been in the process for some time now of feeling the link between significant partnerships in your life and your own higher purpose, and these days that exploration has become both intensified and more internal. You may feel yourself retreating from close involvement with others in order to sort things out, and so it helps to be aware of the temporary nature of your introspection. You will emerge from the tunnel of the next few weeks both stronger in yourself and also more ready to assume the friendly impact of others upon your own agenda. Meantime, you live more behind your conscious mind than more obviously and out in the open. In the first full week of the month, with your ruler Mercury drifting through your sector of dreams, while Jupiter stations in your fourth sector, you may enjoy feeling the deeper connections to your own feeling nature, and to your familial roots. The New Moon of Tuesday, August 12th, brings fresh energy to your internal process, and perhaps some surprises in your key relationships with others, but you are likely to find yourself more subdued than you might otherwise expect. You are still processing internally at this time, and seeking a life direction going forward that matches your highest purpose for yourself. By the time of the following week, beginning with the First Quarter Moon taking place on Monday, August 20th, you are coming out of your daze somewhat and returning to a more outward orientation, as first Mercury and then the Sun enters your sign. The Full Moon Eclipse on Tuesday of the last week of the month takes you even further out of your more narrow internal focus, and brings others directly into your picture, although in an entirely different way than before. Still, something remains of your previous preoccupation with your deeper connection to yourself and it is vital that you not lose sight of that important part of yourself in the rush of surface circumstances.
